READ ALL DIRECTIONS BEFORE STARTING WORK
DOSAGE: The amount of pigment to use is dependent on the color desired. A suggested starting point is 1
lb of Sakrete Cement Color per 80 lb (36.3 kg) of concrete or mortar. Care must be taken to keep proportions of materials and water constant from batch to batch. Color will tend to even out over time. To test
color results, mix a small amount of color with the cement product to be used and apply to a concrete block
or concrete surface. The color appears darker when freshly applied and lightens to its final color when dry.
Color variations can occur. There are a number of issues which can cause color variations including the
color of the cement, color and type of aggregate, amount and mineral content of the water, amount of troweling, finishing, and curing methods employed. These conditions are beyond the control of the manufacturer.
MIXING: For best results pigment should be thoroughly mixed with water prior to adding to cement product.
Once pigment is mixed with water follow instructions as outlined on the cement mix product.
