Contratos de Djefaihapy
Recomendaciones al sacerdote funerario:
El noble, nomarca, jefe de los sacerdotes, Djefaihapy, él dice a su sacerdote funerario:
Mira, todas las cosas que yo he contratado con los sacerdotes están bajo tu responsabilidad.
Mira, además, el sacerdote funerario de un hombre que perpetua el bien de ese hombre
perpetua su nombre.
Mira, yo he hecho que tú conozcas los bienes que yo he dado a esos sacerdotes a cambio
de los bienes que ellos me han dado. Cuida que esos bienes no sean desviados.
Puedas tú hablar según mis bienes que yo les he dado y hacer que lo escuche tu hijo, tu
heredero, aquél que se convertirá en mi sacerdote funerario.
Mira, yo te he dado campos, gentes, ganados, jardines, todas las cosas, como lo hace todo
noble de Assiut, para que tú hagas para mí los ritos, tu corazón estando exaltado, y que tú
te ocupes de todos mis bienes que yo he colocado bajo tu autoridad.
Mira, esto está delante de ti por escrito.
Esos bienes serán (transmitidos) a uno solo de tus hijos entre tus hijos, aquél que tu
quieras, y es él que hará la función de sacerdote funerario, en tanto que usufructuario, sin
permitir que él los comparta con sus hermanos, conforme a este acuerdo que yo he hecho
contigo.
Contrato sexto
Contrato que ha hecho el nomarca, el jefe de los sacerdotes, Djefaihapy, justificado, con el
jefe de los sacerdotes de Upuaut, consistente en un asado de carne proveniente de la
hoguera y colocado sobre el altar para todo toro sacrificado en el templo y en cerveza …
cada día, para la Apertura de la Cara (durante el Ritual del culto diario en el templo), que
revierte a cada Jefe de sacerdotes que está en función.
Aquello que él le ha dado para esto son dos jornadas del templo tomadas sobre los bienes
de la casa de su padre y no sobre aquéllos de la casa del nomarca.
Entonces, el nomarca Djefaihapy dice:
Que este asado de carne y que esta medida-setja de cerveza sean usadas cada día para la
Apertura de la Cara y que después sean presentadas a mi estatua, por la mediación de mi
sacerdote funerario.
Él está satisfecho por ello en presencia del Consejo del Templo.
