St. Marks Basketball League
Come join the fun and par cipate in one of Hacienda Heights most talked basketball program!
The league is open to boys and girls, ages 9 – 13*. As an all‐volunteer, community based youth organiza on, the League
accepts players who live and/or a end school in Hacienda Heights during the first week of registra on. Back by popular demand,
we have opened up the 2014 season to nearby communi es. The league is limited to the number of players we can accommodate, so we recommend players to register early!

Includes uniform, basic picture package (3x5 individual and 5x7 team
photo) and trophies for 1st and 2nd place teams in each division.
*Restric ons: All children must be ages 9‐13 in this calendar year (born between January 1, 2001 and December 31, 2005).
Your child may be 8 to enroll, but must turn 9 by Dec. 31, 2014. Excep on: A player turning 14 who has played in
the league for more than one year, and will be a ending 8th grade in the fall, is eligible to play.
ABOUT THE LEAGUE
Divisions:
Players will be placed in one of four divisions based on age and skill‐level as determined by the League board
members and coaches. Ages are based on the player's age on December 31, 2014. All teams are co‐ed. Expected
game me by division (subject to change):
Junior Division
9 and 10 years old*
Saturday, 8:30 a.m.– 11:30 a.m.
Minor Division
10 and 11 years old
Saturday, 11:45 a.m.– 2:45 p.m.
Major Division
11 and 12 years old
Saturday, 3:00 p.m.– 6:45 p.m.
Senior Division
12 and 13 years old*
Friday, 5:30 p.m.– 9:00 p.m.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE ‐ SIGN UP TO BE A COACH OR ASSISTANT COACH
Volunteer opportuni es are available for parents to par cipate as coaches (for all the divisions),
assistant coaches, team parents, and gym monitors. League sponsors are welcome!
Season Begins: The season begins in August and ends in November 2014
Playoffs and Finals will be scheduled during the month of November 2014.
Awards Ceremony and Shoot‐A‐Thon sponsored raffle will take place a er Playoffs and Finals.
Gym Prac ces: Once the season begins, each team will be assigned one hour of gym me per week, this prac ce me is
mandatory for all players. Your team needs your par cipa on! Monday–Thursday, between 6 p.m.–9 p.m.
Addi onal summer and/or weekly prac ces possible, depending on the coach’s preference.
Voluntary prac ces may be held from June to August.

La liga de basketball de St. Mark’s esta invitando ninas y ninos de edades 9 – 13 anos *, que estan interesdaos en jugar basketball para
registrarse. Como esta organicion de la communidad es valuntaria, la liga esta aceptando jugardores que vivien o van a la escuela dentro Hacienda Heights. Jugadores que viven fuera de Hacidenda Heights pueden registrarse el Segundo fin de samana de la registracion. La liga esta limitada a 216 jugadores, les recomendamos que se registren lo mas pronto posible.
Informacion de Registracion: No prioridad a jugadores regresando. Collectas para fondos no son mandotroias.

exepsiones: Jugdores cumpliendo 14 anos que a jugado en la liga mas de 2 anos, Y attendiendo el grado 8 en el otono puede jugar.

Que traer: 1) Prueba de edad 2) Prueba de asguranza medica 3) $150 para registracion( $130 para hermano (a) ) encluye uniforme.

注册时球员需要在场接受初步检测，正式审核将定于 5月6日或 5月7日晚举行．

14岁及将于 2014年 9月就读八年级的前度聖马可球员亦可注册．年龄计算方法以 2014年 12月
31日为限．
