First Grade Unit: Las Profesiones
Spanish Language
Overview. In this unit, students learn about the country of Venezuela. They also learn about
types of professions, about equipment and tools used by professionals, and about places where
professionals work.
Essential Questions:
● What are some professions? (Week 1)
● What do people do at their jobs? (Week 2)
● What tools do people use at their jobs? (Week 3)
● Where do people work? (Week 4)

● People have a choice about their profession.
