We have been having several students that are being
dropped off after the tardy bell. Please remember that if
you arrive after the tardy bell at 7:45 parents MUST walk
their child into the front office and sign them in on the
computer. If the safety patrols and teachers are walking
into the building the bell has already rang and you will
need to pull around, park, and come into the building so
that your child is not counted absent by mistake. If a
student is not in their classroom by 7:45am, they are
counted tardy. Thank you for helping us to insure that
all of our students are in their classrooms on time to
begin their day.
Also, please remember:
• We are no longer accepting transportation changes
over the phone.
• Late arrivals and early dismissals count as tardies.
Mark Your Calendars for the
Parent Nights are offered every year to help
parents learn strategies to help their students
learn better and achieve more, but we often have
less attendance at these events than we would like.
If you have ideas for parent nights or ideas about
how to increase attendance at the Parent Nights,
please contact Mrs. Williams. A Parent
Engagement Committee meets yearly to offer
input for the nights, and we would love to have
you share your ideas!

Parents of students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade can check their child’s
grade online using our Parent Portal. Stay up to date with how
your child is performing by logging in on a regular basis using the
link provided under Parents on the New Market homepage!
New Market will be hosting a canned/dry food drive December 7th-11th.
All of the food received will be donated to Hope Baptist Church in
Sophia. They help many families in our community. Please have your
child bring in canned or dry food items that week. Thank you!

Por favor recuerde que si su hijo llega a la escuela después
de que suene la campana a las 7:45 tiene que caminar a su
hijo en la oficina principal y firmar en el uso de la
computadora. Si las patrullas de seguridad y los maestros
están caminando en el edificio de la campana ya sonó y se
necesita para tirar alrededor, parque, y entrar en el
edificio para que su hijo no se cuenta ausente por error.
Si un estudiante no está en su salón de clases a las 7:45
am, se cuentan tardanza. Gracias por ayudarnos a
asegurarnos de que todos nuestros estudiantes están en
sus aulas a tiempo para comenzar su día.
