1. Provide a rou>ne and structure for your child
• Include God in daily schedule. • Teach them to be organized.
• Be flexible with >me, not everyone works at the same rhythm. • Explain changes as they happen. (New baby in family, death of someone, etc.)
2. Help your children have success at school
• Check agendas, newsleVers and other school communica>ons daily.
• Treat them age appropriately.
• Follow up on school projects and communicate with the teacher.
• Monitor them without doing their work for them.
• Let them have consequences for their behavior.
3. Discipline and consistency at home.
• Establish rules clearly.
• Follow up behaviors with consequences.
• Let them know they should respect all authority figures (even bus nanny).
• Reinforce at home disciplinary ac>ons taken at school.

1. Provea una ru>na y estructura para su hijo(a)
• Incluya a Dios en su horario diario. • Enséñeles a ser organizados.
• Sea flexible con el >empo, nadie trabaja al mismo ritmo. • Explique los cambios a medida que suceden. (Nuevo bebé en la familia, muerte de alguien) 2. Ayude a sus hijos a tener éxito en la escuela • Revise sus agendas, cartas de la semana y otras comunicaciones a diario. • Trátelos de acuerdo a su edad. • Haga seguimiento de los proyectos escolares y comuníquese con el maestro. • Monitoree su trabajó sin hacer sus tareas por ellos. • Déjeles tener consecuencias por su comportamiento. 3. Disciplina y consistencia en casa.

• De seguimiento a los comportamientos dándo consecuencias. • Déjeles saber que deberían respetar todas las figures de autoridad ( incluyendo la niñera del bus)
• Refuerce en casa las acciones disciplinarias tomadas en la escuela.
