MediCarrea has recently started to collaborate with the public health care in Västra Götaland, Kalmar,
Gävleborg and Uppsala and now there are vacancies, permanent and full time employment, for nurses in
many different specializations. The positions are in public hospitals in medium and small towns of the
above-mentioned regions.
The nurses working in Sweden have a high professional status, they represent an autonomous sector, with
its own organisation. They can perform independently complex medical tasks and they receive constant
education and training. The nurses are organised in Nursing Colleges which contribute to the development
of nursing science and its professional management. In Sweden it is common that experienced nurses are
head of departments and participate at the management of the hospital.

Invitation to study tour to Sweden, to get to know the work place and the region, after a first
interview with MediCarrera.
Permanent contract after successful language exam.
Training courses within working hours.
Assistance with removal and relocation costs.
A free language course program, first on-line part-time then on campus full-time, which will take you
to level C1 in Swedish. During full time studies you receive an allowance of 700 net/month and free
housing. Partners are also offered a full time language course and there is childcare.
Salaries and other conditions of employment in accordance with Swedish collective agreement for
the sector. Previous experience and qualification determines the salary. The minimum wage for a
General Nurse is 2680€ gross/month. Duties are paid apart.

Requirem ents:
• Title as BSc. nurse recognised in the EU. If you have received your training in another EEA
Member State you need a formal recognition of your professional qualifications before you can
start your contract in Sweden.
• To be motivated to learn Swedish (C1 level). A free language course will be offered to reach the
C1 level.
• English language.
