Aprobación del programa
La Junta aprobó el programa.
8 de febrero de 2016
Elección de la Mesa y nombramiento del Relator
De conformidad con su Reglamento, la Junta nombró a la Excma. Sra. Stephanie
Hochstetter Skinner-Klée (Guatemala, Lista C) Presidenta, por un mandato de un
año. La Sra. Angélica Jácome (Panamá, Lista C) fue elegida como suplente.
La Junta nombró al Sr. Vimlendra Sharan (India, Lista B) Vicepresidente. El
Excmo. Sr. Majid Dehghan-Shoar (República Islámica del Irán, Lista B) fue
elegido como suplente.
Fueron elegidos miembros de la Mesa por un mandato de un año, en
representación de las otras tres listas electorales del PMA, la Sra. Anna-Marie
Moulton (Sudáfrica, Lista A), la Sra. Vibeke Gram Mortensen (Dinamarca,
Lista D) y el Sr. Zoltán Kálmán (Hungría, Lista E). Fueron nombrados suplentes,
respectivamente, el Excmo. Sr. Mohammed S. L. Sheriff (Liberia, Lista A), el
Sr. Osamu Kubota (Japón, Lista D) y el Sr. Andrzej Halasiewicz (Polonia,
Lista E).
De conformidad con el Artículo XII de su Reglamento, la Junta nombró
al Sr. Benito Santiago Jiménez Sauma (México, Lista C) Relator del primer
período de sesiones ordinario de 2016.

Informe resumido de la evaluación de la cartera de proyectos en el Estado
de Palestina (de 2011 a mediados de 2015), y respuesta de la dirección
La Junta tomó nota del documento titulado “Informe resumido de la evaluación
de la cartera de proyectos en el Estado de Palestina (de 2011 a mediados de
2015)” (WFP/EB.1/2016/5) y de la respuesta de la dirección que figuraba en el
documento WFP/EB.1/2016/5/Add.1 + Corr.1, y alentó a que se adoptaran
nuevas medidas en respuesta a las recomendaciones formuladas, teniendo en
cuenta las consideraciones planteadas por la Junta durante sus debates.

La Junta aprobó el programa en el país Tayikistán 200813 (2016-2020)
(WFP/EB.1/2016/6/3*), para el cual se necesitaban 64.624 toneladas de
alimentos por un valor de 39,0 millones de dólares EE.UU., con un costo total
para el PMA de 80,6 millones de dólares.

La Junta aprobó el programa en el país Indonesia 200914 (2016-2020)
(WFP/EB.1/2016/6/2), cuyo costo total para el PMA se elevaba a 14,8 millones
de dólares.

Aumentos de presupuesto de actividades de desarrollo ‒ Programa en el
país Camboya 200202
La Junta aprobó el aumento de presupuesto de 46,4 millones de dólares propuesto
para el programa en el país Camboya 200202 (WFP/EB.1/2016/7), con objeto de
financiar una prórroga de 30 meses, desde el 1 de julio de 2016 hasta el 31 de
diciembre de 2018.

Cartera de proyectos para la región de África occidental
2016/EB.1/7
Programas en los países ‒ Guinea-Bissau 200846 (2016-2020)
La Junta aprobó el programa en el país Guinea-Bissau 200846 (2016-2020)
(WFP/EB.1/2016/6/1), para el cual se necesitaban 21.720 toneladas de alimentos
por un valor de 23 millones de dólares y transferencias de base monetaria
equivalentes a 4,8 millones de dólares, con un costo total para el PMA de
38,3 millones de dólares.
