Azkar opens new facilities dedicated to logistics operations
• The new facilities are located in Azuqueca de Henares and have a
floor area of over 28,000 square meters dedicated to logistics work
• This is another example of the strong commitment of Azkar for the
Contract Logistics, to offer customers services and solutions tailored
to their needs
• The new facilities include three modules for strategic sectors of the
company
Madrid, 2014 – Azkar, member of DACHSER Group, opens a new facility in
Azuqueca de Henares, to logistics operations.
The new center is located in a complex of 45,000 square meters and has three
buildings in an enclosed area. The first one is dedicated to electronics products
group, while the others two are for drink and fashion respectively. These three areas
are strategic in the company, reaching more than 50% of the turnover of the logistics
business in Iberia and are represented by leading brands worldwide.
"This new opening affirms our firm commitment to Contract Logistics. This is a
thematic complex that allows us each building suits to a type of logistics, to make

docks and 60 employees.

services in market sectors very different.
In Portugal, Azkar currently has a similar logistics center, located in Lisbon. Is a
complex with 16 thousand square meters of warehouse in which Azkar provides a
wide range of transportation and logistics services to over 900 companies. From the
common logistics -Warehousing, inventory management, picking & packing, labeling,
etc.– to telecommunication Logistics, electrical equipments and appliances, through
logistics technical support. Azkar also provides deconsolidation and consolidation
