Welcome to the Conference TRUST IN THE INFORMATION SOCIETY.
Trust in the Information Society is a conference focused on e-trust and on how
the Information Communication Technology (ICT) can be a generator of trust or can
be adapted and used to generate e-trust.
The Advisory Board of Research and Innovation for Security, Privacy and
Trustworthiness in the Information Society RISEPTIS published in its latest report
a set of conclusions that form the core of the event concerning trust in the
Information Society. Derived from this report a set of fundamental topics emerge
that form the core of this event including topics like:
Digital Life and Trust,
Trustworthy networking and computing services,
Management of Digital Identities in the Common European Framework,
Development of the Legal Framework of the EU with regard to the Protection
of Data and Privacy
These and other topics of the highest importance for the future of the Information
Society in Europe will be discussed on the 10th and 11th of February in 2010 in
the Auditorio of León, Spain.
During the two days of the event, sessions of a high strategic level will take place,
including issues and topics of political and social scope, but also plenary sessions
and workshops of a more technological character.
The participants will cover the complete spectrum of stakeholders, representing
the different actors that form the Information Society. Prestigious speakers from
Public Administrations, Industry, Research and European consumer organizations
will take part in the event.

Bienvenidos a la conferencia sobre Confianza en la Sociedad de la
Información.
Confianza en la Sociedad de la Información es una conferencia enfocada en la
investigación en eConfianza, y en como las TIC pueden ser generadoras de
confianza o pueden ser adaptadas y utilizadas para generar eConfianza.
Nace de las conclusiones del último informe de la RISEPTIS, la Junta Consultiva
de Investigación e Innovación en Seguridad, Privacidad y Confianza en la Sociedad
de la Información.
De las conclusiones de este informe, se plantean un conjunto de temáticas
fundamentales en torno a la eConfianza, como son los que se citan a continuación y
que forman el núcleo de este evento.
vida digital y confianza,
confianza en los servicios de comunicación y software,
la gestión de identidades digitales en un marco común europeo,
y el desarrollo del marco jurídico de la UE en cuanto a protección de datos y
privacidad.
Estos y otros temas de máxima importancia para el futuro de la Sociedad de la
Información en Europa serán tratados durante los días 10 y 11 de febrero de
2010 en el Auditorio de León, España.
Durante los dos días de duración del evento, tendrán lugar sesiones de alto nivel
estratégico, incluyendo cuestiones y temas de ámbito político y social, así como
sesiones plenarias y talleres de carácter más tecnológico.
Los intervinientes en las sesiones serán de los más variado, tratando de contar
con todos los representantes de los distintos actores que conforman la Sociedad de
la Información. En este sentido se contará con ponentes de reconocido prestigio de
las distintas Administraciones Públicas, Industria, Investigación y de las distintas
organizaciones que representan a los usuarios de ámbito europeo.
