Dear Parents, The National Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work

Dear Parents,
The National Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day is typically scheduled
in April. However, GPISD and other area districts have selected an alternate date
in June.
This year the GPISD date is June 12th. The national date is April 25th when our
schools are in session. Any student who is absent on April 25th to participate in
“Take Your Daughter and Sons to Work Day” will be marked with an unexcused
absence.

El Día Nacional de Trae tu Hijo o Hija al Trabajo usualmente está programado
para el mes de abril. Sin embargo, el distrito de Grand Prairie ha seleccionado una
fecha alternativa en Junio.
Este año esta actividad se celebrará el 12 de Junio. La fecha nacional está
programada para el 25 de abril cuando las escuelas están todavía en sesión. Cada
estudiante que esté ausente el 25 de abril para participar en “Trae tu Hijo o Hija al
Trabajo” será marcado ausente sin excusa.
