1º capa: marrón / Alta concentración de
aditivos protectores a los rayos U.V.
1st Coating: Brown / This coating has a
high concentration of U.V. rays'
protection additives.
2º capa: blanca / Material de mayor
fluencia que facilita el tallado de las
roscas.
3º capa: roja / De muy alto peso
molecular, de excelentes propiedades
mecánicas (impacto, tracción y dureza de
rosca).
4º capa: blanca / Con alta concentración
de aditivos antioxidantes que alargan la
vida útil del tubo a elevadas temperaturas
del agua.

MATERIA PRIMA
Con más de 50 años de experiencia en la
transformación de termoplásticos, IPS
desarrolló una fórmula exclusiva para
conferir al 4x4 la principal característica
que un tubo para roscar debe garantizar:

El polipropileno homopolímero 100%
virgen en toda su masa, es aditivado en
cada capa, prolongando así la vida útil del
sistema y ofreciendo la rosca más firme
del mercado.
RAW MATERIAL
With more than 50 years of experience in
thermoplastics transformation, IPS has
developed an exclusive formula to grant the
main feature that a threaded 4x4 pipe must
ensure: TENSILE STRENGTH.
100% virgin polypropylene homopolymer is
added to each coat, thus extending the
system's useful life and granting the
strongest thread in the market.

Al utilizar la terraja la viruta debe
salir entera y sin aplastarse.
Un tubo roscado PP que permita ser
enrollado para su transporte no tiene
la dureza mecánica necesaria para
garantizar la firmeza de la rosca.

The threading machine must come
out intact and without crushes.
A PP threaded pipe which can be
coiled for carrying purposes will not
have enough mechanical strength to
guarantee the thread strength.

materias primas y su proceso de control de
calidad están regulados, auditados y
certificados por normativa ISO (International
Organization for Standardization) desde 1999.
La seguridad que confiere en sus roscas a
través de la firmeza del material, la relación
precio-calidad y la confiabilidad de la
empresa colocaron al tubo 4x4 en el podio
del más vendido a nivel internacional en su
categoría.
En los últimos 50 años se exportó e instaló
en todos los continentes.
El Departamento de Control de Calidad,
compuesto por más de 18 profesionales,
audita cada puesta en máquina y realiza los
siguientes ensayos sobre cada partida.

Los tubos 4x4 son fabricados atento a normas
DIN (Deutsches Instituf für Normung) y las
roscas bajo normas BSPT
withworth gas cónica (British Standart Pipes).
Las conexiones a Rosca contienen en
su masa aditivos atóxicos anti U.V. para
prolongar su vida útil a la intemperie.
Los tubos 4x4 llevan alta concentración
de este aditivo en su capa externa
(Para alta exposición se recomienda recubrir la
tubería con cinta Ipsolar o Ipsoband).
El uso de una terraja de acero templado
diseñada para uniones withworth
gas cónica (BSPT) asegura la
unión entre filetes (no utilice terrajas
de orientación paralela).

4x4 pipes are manufactured according to
DIN (Deutsches Instituf für Normung)
standards and threads are compliant with
BSPT conic withworth gas (British
Standart Pipes).
Thread connections compounds contain
anti U.V. atoxic additives to extend their
useful life outdoors.
4x4 pipes' external coat contains a high
concentration of this additive (in high
exposure cases, pipes are recommended
to be coated with IPSoband or IPSolar
tape).The tempered steel threading
machine designed for conic withworth
gas (BSPT) joints guarantee the bond
between threads (do not use parallel
threading machines).
Both thread connections and 4x4 pipes
raw materials are 100% virgin, made
according to an exclusive formula to
ensure strong threads and lasting joints.
El tubo 4x4 se fabrica a través del
proceso de coextrusión, por medio del
cual cada capa de material se une a la
anterior con una orientación molecular
distinta, confiriéndole al tubo un
refuerzo extra.
La materia prima incluye en su
compuesto un alto porcentaje
de aditivos antioxidantes para
evitar el envejecimiento prematuro
por el proceso de fabricación.
El proceso de refrigerado se realiza en
forma gradual y estrictamente
regulada, evitando de esta forma
cualquier riesgo de cristalizar el
homopolímero.
Los porcentajes de compuestos y
aditivos son vertidos automáticamente
según la exclusiva formulación de IPS
con balanzas electrónicas
regularmente calibradas y auditadas
por el Departamento de Control de
Calidad y por Entes externos.
APPLIED TECHNOLOGY
4x4 pipes are manufactured by means
of a coextrusion process, during
which each coat is bonded to the
previous one with a different
molecular orientation, thus granting
extra strength to the pipe.
Tanto la materia prima de conexiones
a Rosca como la de tubos 4x4 es 100%
virgen y de fórmula exclusiva para asegurar
una tenacidad en los filetes de
unión perdurable.

The cooling process is conducted
gradually and under strict regulations,
so as to prevent the homopolymerin
from crystallizing.
The raw material contains a large
number of antioxidant additives so as
to avoid premature ageing due to the
manufacturing process.
Compounds and additives are
dumped automatically according to
IPS' exclusive formula with electronic
scales regularly calibrated and audited
both by the Quality Control Division
and External Entities.
