The objective of the present study is to analyse the available alternative that the Universidad
Pública de Navarra offers the future graduates and also their satisfaction after finishing their
degree. To be more precise, the sample that we have study is the graduates on their last year
from the faculty of economics. The investigation has an exploratory character and the results
were obtained using a survey.
From the results obtained, we can see that in general all the students claimed more practical
knowledge, which included: languages, computer programs and real cases through companies

or work experience in companies. In addition, most of the students will realize a Master after
finishing their career. Doing a Master is one of the main option for the graduates after
finishing their degree with the option looking for a job. However, a small percentage of the
students is thinking in doing the master in the UPNA, as a high percentage says that the
existing offer in this type of study is limited and little varied.
We recommend the FCCEE to establish two objectives. The first one is to establish a
direct communication with the graduates, with the aim of informing them with the contents of
the masters and the demand of the postgraduates education. The second is to increase the
offer, evaluating the possibility of including more popular masters within the students.

El presente estudio tiene por objeto analizar las alternativas que tienen a su disposición los
próximos graduados de la Universidad Pública de Navarra, además de su satisfacción con los
estudios que han realizado. En concreto, nos referimos a los estudiantes de último curso de los
grados de la facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales. Se ha realizado una
investigación con carácter exploratorio y se recogen datos de los estudiantes mediante
encuesta.
A partir de los resultados obtenidos, se puede observar que en general, todos los estudiantes
reclaman mayores conocimientos formativos incorporando idiomas, enseñanza de programas

informáticos o casos más aproximados a la realidad a través de actividades de funcionamiento
de empresas o prácticas en empresas. Además, se ha podido determinar que la mayoría de los
estudiantes que tiene un camino claro que seguir al acabar sus estudios, realizará un máster.
Esta alternativa figura también entre las opciones que más barajan los estudiantes que no han
tomado una decisión, junto con la búsqueda de empleo. Sin embargo, un pequeño porcentaje
de todos ellos tiene pensado realizarlo en la UPNA ya que la oferta existente de este tipo de
estudios es, según un alto porcentaje de los estudiantes, escasa y poco variada.
Se recomienda a la FCCEE, que establezca dos objetivos. El primero de ellos, entablar una
comunicación directa con los alumnos con el fin de informarles de los contenidos de cada
máster y ampliar la demanda de estos estudios de posgrado. El segundo, ampliar la oferta
valorando la posibilidad de incluir algún máster de gran popularidad entre los estudiantes.
