Part 1. Reading and Comprehension (40 minutes)
Open the attached PDF document and read it in pairs and highlight key points. Look for
answers to the following questions while you read. Share your answers with the class.
What can AI create? Artificial Intelligent can créate new articles, novels, generate music by
listening recordings, poems, Edith photgraphs, compose a musical, it can créate art, music and
literaly works.
Who usually owns the copyright for creative works? A human,the ownership of copyright in
computer-generated was by the human author because the program was considerate a tool, Works
qualify for copyright protection if they are original, but the latest versions of artificial intelligent,
aren’t a tool, the program takes a loot of decisions involved in the creative process without the
human intervention.
Why is AI different from a human artist? AI makes many decisions without human intervention, or
where human interaction is minimal
What problem do companies face when AI creates something? The Works created with AI is free of
copyright because isn’t created by a human author.
Part 2. Research Activity (50 minutes)
Information to focus on:
What is copyright? Is the exclusive, legally secured right to reproduce distribute, and perform a
literary, musical, dramatic, or artistic work. Knows as intelectual property law, is designed to
protect an artis, a Publisher, or another owner against specific unauthorized uses of his work.
How does AI use other people’s work?
What are the concerns about AI and copyright? Only Works created by humans are protected by
copyright laws. AI has a problem with intelectual problema, cause at the moment, Works created
by AI are not protected by copyright. The root of this is to generate an output like a written
sentences or picture, it must first learn from the real work of actual humans.

Part 3. Checklist Activity (30 minutes)
Objective: Analyse the main ideas and form opinions.
Instructions:
Provide a checklist of the most important points:
AI can create art, music, and writing. I’am agree it can create it, but it shouldn’t be copyright
protected.
Copyright usually belongs to the human who creates a work. I’am agree, Works created by a
human should be copyright protected.
AI complicates copyright because it creates things without a human. Yes, AI complicates copyright
because it has a problem with intellectual protected.
Some countries give copyright to the AI’s programmer. Yes, I am agree it helps to made work faster.
Group Task: Work in small groups to discuss each point from the checklist. Decide if you agree or
disagree and explain why.
