P Fr = 19.5 × 106 × ×K n× D C 16.666 Lh = × n E Fr × Y + + p + p' B 2.5.2. Bearings selection: recommended radial loads After the pulley diameter has been calculated according to the power and transmission ratio, the shaft radial load must always be checked carefully which allows to detrmine front bearing life. Referring to fig.(2.2), the value of the shaft radial load Fr is calculated using the relation [2.1], while bearing life using the relation [2.2]. Y E p p γ = ratio between (A+B) and B of fig.(2.2) [mm] = distance between the beginning of the motor shaft and the beltpull application middle point, see fig.(2.2). [N] = rotor load. [3.10] Actually, while the motor increases its temperature, absolute slip do not remain constant for two reasons: • since the stator resistance increases, there is more voltage drop and, so, the voltage V, which determines flux, decreases and consequently, the flux in [3.2], which is proportional to (V/f), decreases. • since the rotor resistance increases with temperature, the denominator Rr increases. So, at nominal torque, increasing its temperature, the motor will have an higher absolute slip. In the A zone at constant torque, decreasing the speed, supply voltage and frequency decrease: at a parity of motor current, being the stator drop voltage Rsis constant, this has a more relevant effect at low speed, that is at low voltage. For this reason, for a motor with nominal speed of 2000 rpm, which operates at 500 rpm for a long time, it could be useful to set a voltage "boost" at low speed. I dati di deflussamento dei motori DRIVE-AX riportati nel presente catalogo sono comunque riferiti ad alimentazione a tensione costante pari a quella nominale. if we consider the [3.2] V Φ = K f [3.11] with constant voltage, flux would varies as 1/f; actually, in the B zone, the stator voltage drop voltage owing to leakage reactance (ωLi) no more negligible and the field weaking caused by the rotor current make the [3.2] not ever usable: at constant voltage, the flux is actually reduced much more than 1/f. This situation normally happens with standard inverters, (not vectrol controlled). On the contrary, if a motor with a winding for a voltage lower than the maximum inverter voltage output is selected, since the motor exceeds the nominal speed in the weaking flux zone, the motor voltage will be able to be increased, so that the effects of leakage stator reactance and of rotor current will be reduced and the performances of the motor will get better. In this case an inverter with an higher nominal current must be selected.
