PTM’s® PVC Sanitary Sewer Pipe is manufactured in
compliance with the specifications “ASTM D3034
Standard Specification for Type PSM Poly Vinyl Chloride
(PVC) Sewer Pipe and Fittings”, CSA B182.2 and ASTM
D1784 Cell Class 12454.
Sizes are 4”, 6”, 8”, 10” and 12” in diameter available in both
SDR35 and SDR26, with nominal laying lengths of 14” or
20” feet (tolerances in accordance with ASTM and CSA).
The ring-tite joint meets ASTM D3212 and gaskets are
manufactured in compliance with ASTM F477.
CHARACTERISTICS AND ADVANTAGES
FLOW RATE CAPACITY
PTM’s® PVC Sewer Pipe maintains a smooth inner surface
through years of service; consequently, the product does
not lose flow rate capacity.
CORROSION RESISTANT
PTM’s® PVC sewer pipe is not affected by galvanic or
electrolytic corrosion, nor by any type of soil. Unlike other
types of pipe, it does not require expensive cathodic or
epoxy coatings.
JOINT O-RING RIEBER GASKET
The O-ring rieber gasket in the pipe allows for quick assembly and hermetic joints. The elastomeric material placed in
the bell provides an airtight seal that protects the pipe joint
against vibrations, earth movements and compensations
for expansion and contraction of the pipe, as well as ensuring that it will not come loose during assembly.
QUALITY CONTROL
PTM’s® PVC Sewer Pipe is tested in compliance with the
applicable Standards in a laboratory accredited by the
EMA (Mexican Accreditation Entity).
PTM’s® Laboratory has international recognition per ISO
17025 and has more than 35 accredited test methods for
plastics pipe performance testing.
