we are in an environment where the internet is our awakening, where you can reach any
part of the world with just a search, this is where we find social networks, but what are
social networks? according to the real spanish academy says: “Information society service
that offers users a communication platform through the Internet so that they can generate
a profile with their personal data, facilitating the creation of communities based on
common criteria and allowing the communication of its users, so that they can interact
through messages, share information, images or videos, allowing these publications to be
immediately accessible by all the users in their group.”
The topic for today's debate is that : Are social networking sites useful or harmful to
people?
Explained the definition of social networks, this is where you will find my points of view of
how favorable social networks can be for people.

a) Your points: socialization
I will be speaking about how people can easily establish communication and socialization
with social networks.
● in social networks they can see themselves more identified with certain types of group
identity or make them belong to a group with only similarities that each person can have.

have been a great invention by our ancestors, without a doubt, without them humanity
would be at a much better evolutionary level. It is essential to understand the need for
social networks because we, as a globalized and capitalist society, need full contact with
neighboring countries. From there we have been able to achieve an improvement in
culture, economy, the rise and rise of companies, politics, literature and the arts. Finally,
I would like to close with the previous sentence: “Communication is an essential

I disagree that social networks are good in their entirety because they can be compared
to a double-edged sword, although social networks have been fundamental in human
development, they have also brought with their invention unfortunate events that
would have been avoided without the existence of them.
Why do you disagree with first speaker’s points?
In advance I fully respect the arguments of the opposition, however I don’t share the same
opinion because it is too optimistic a reality in a teenager with access to networks, although
