experimentando una caída de presión de 1 bar
(según VDI 2173).
Suponiendo que el elemento actúa como una tobera
corta (lo que es cierto en la mayoría de los casos ),
puede calcularse el valor Kv de acuerdo a la
siguiente fórmula

En esta formula, la sección transversal equivalente
