ALERT instruction
WARNING
Warning alerts you to a possibility of personal injury.
CAUTION
Cautions alert you to a possibility of damage to the equipment.
NOTE
Notes alert you to pertinent facts and condition.
CAUTIONS
To avoid electrical shock, always:
1、Use a properly grounded electrical outlet of correct voltage and
current handling capacity.
2、Disconnect from power supply before maintenance and
servicing. Refer to servicing to qualified personnel and
engineers.
3、In the event that fluid is accidentally spilled into the chamber,
disconnect grounded plug and turn the equipment upside down
to avoid fluid contacting the internal components.
WARNINGS
To avoid personal injury:
1、Ensure that this equipment is connected to electrical service
according to local and national electrical codes. Failure to properly
connect may create a fire or shock hazard.
2、Always use the gloves and handle to remove the substances out of
the chamber in order to protect from the possible virus infection.
3、Don’t open the centrifuge lid only until the motor is stopped
completely.

for test tubes containing in vitro diagnostic specimens for blood separation for
qualitative or quantitative test procedures. It is also applied to biochemistry,
microbic immunity genetics and a general clinic test
Definition:
g Force
the measurement for samples undergoing the stress of acceleration in a
centrifuge
RCF (Relative Centrifugal Force)
RCF is the centrifugal force that the samples undergoes which relies on
the speed of rotation ( N ) in rpm and the rotating radius ( R ). The
rotating radius is measured from the center axis of the rotor to the
extreme end of the centrifuge tubes.
Formula:
RCF = 11.18 x 4 x (N / 1000)²
N:Speed of rotation
R:Rotating radius in cm

Before unlocking the lid, please follow the procedures as stated below:
1、Switch on the power;
2、Press the key “LID OPEN”
3、Press the part # 15 of “Lid Release button”, then lift the lid up.
In case of power failure, lid can’t be opened
In case of failure of power supply, the lid locking system cannot unlock the lid
automatically. On this occasion, the following procedures will help open the
lid easily:
1、Switch off the power supply
2、Remove the plastic plug(#1)located on the left hand of the body.
You will find a magnetic interlock fitting(#2)in it.
3、Insert a screwdriver(#3)or any steel bar into the hole
4、Press the magnetic interlock fitting down and also press the lock release
button on the right hand(#4)at the same time.
5、Place the plastic plug(#1)back to close up the hole.

Rotor assembly
CAUTION:
Inspect all components prior to installing this
centrifuge
1. The locking bolt(#1) must be fastened firmly with Rotor + Drive
shaft
2. The thread of locking bolt(#1)is designed by the reversed
direction to the driving direction, thus never worry about the
loose bolt.
3. Check if the pin is assembled firmly and properly in the drive
shaft.
4. Rotate the rotor slightly to test the balance of the rotor. If the
rotor is not locked firmly, the possible vibration and imbalance
will occur, thus the damage or personal injury may be happened.
7
BUCKET and TUBES
【A】
The rubber cushion is used to protect the
glass tubes during the high speed spinning.
Thus make sure if the cushion is placed
properly on the bottom of the bucket as
depicted in figure 1.
Let the concaved side of cushion up. Or
clear all glass pieces if glass tube is broken.
If the cushion is unfortunately placed upside
down or on the tilt, recover it to the normal
position.
【B】
The basket type bucket is also
designed to place one rubber cushion
in it. The purpose of this cushion is to
avoid the plastic adaptor from vibration
and crack.
【C】
How to place the centrifugal tubes
CAUTION
 Use the same type of bucket for spinning in
order to keep the balance of the rotor.
 Place the tubes diagonally across the
bucket as stated in the figure
 Even if the less testing tubes is used, place
all other tubes into the adaptor and buckets
to allow the balance during spinning.
8

prohibited from maintenance and servicing.
3. Always use a properly grounded electrical outlet of correct voltage and
current handling capacity.
4. Inspect and find if there is any abnormal situation happened to the
centrifuge, if yes, stop use of this unit and label “WARNING::Abnormal”
on the centrifuge. Ask the qualified engineer to repair before it has
become to the normal.
DAILY
a、Check the accessories:
1. Locking bolt: This part must be screwed completely. The loose bolt
will result in vibration and imbalance which will cause the
damage or personal injury.
2. Locking pin:The same way as locking bolt.
3. Bucket & Adaptor:Any crack or abrasion of these parts is strictly prohibited.
b、 Check the lamps & LED screen:
Switch on the power and see if all lamps and LED screen are in normal
condition or not.
Turn the controlled knob to make sure if TIME and RPM can be adjusted
and functioned normally.
c、Check the lid lock:
Switch power to ON position, press LID OPEN key and door release
button and see if the lid can be opened normally or not.
d、 Check the visual appearance:
Clean the exterior appearance before and after use of this centrifuge.
Clean the rotor chamber if it is stained by the spilled by blood, urine and
solution. Be sure to wear the latex gloves to clean the chamber.
e、Check the hinges of lid:
Check if the hinges are loose or not. Note, the loosen hinges may
cause the abnormal operation or personal injury.
f、 Sterilization
If bucket, rotor or tube adaptor is contaminated by the blood, urine or
solution, use steam sterilizer to autoclave all accessories.
12
MONTHLY
Inspection categories:
Rotor、Buckets、Adaptors、Programmable Function
a. Rotor、 Buckets and Adaptors:
Check if the above 3 parts have crack, abrasion, deformation or corrosion.
If any of the above situation has happened, stop operation and replace the
new one immediately. Continuity of use these defective parts may cause
damage of the centrifuge or personal injury.
b. Clean the above 3 parts:
Loosen the bolt, nut and pin to remove the rotor from the drive shaft.
Clean the related parts immersed in neutral detergent water, then clean
with the distilled water or tap water, finally wipe it with cotton clothing and
dry it naturally. Hot air or heater is prohibited for cleaning.
c. Functions check:
Switch on power, and check if the RPM and RCF can be conversed
correctly and normally. Also check if timer can work and count down
normally.
YEARLY
In addition to the maintenance of DAILY and MONTHLY, the following
inspections must be done:
a. Speed (RPM)
Use a digital tachometer and check if the centrifuge is spinning at the right
speed or not.
b. Centrifugal Force:(RCF)
Calculate if RCF in line with RPM is correct or not.
stated in the manual to estimate the RCF.
Use the formula
c. Overall inspection
Disassemble the centrifuge (limited to the qualified engineer or licensed
personnel) carefully and check all components inside the centrifuge, such
as motor, circuit board, fuse, screw, nut, grounding…. etc.
CAUTION:
The yearly maintenance and disassembly are limited to the qualified
personnel or licensed engineers.
