Conferences, power point presentations, cases, articles and videos will be used during the course. If these requirements aren’t complete your homework is incomplete. Videos and images must be saved in a USB or downloaded in a computer. Downloading files in the cellphone or during the class will not be permitted. Extra Credits Given in special activities designated by the teacher. This extra credit can be used to cover a missing homework or class exercise. Attendance Regular, everyday class attendance is expected of all students. A student may be withdrawn from a class due to excessive absences. If a student has an unavoidable absence, the student is responsible for obtaining any handouts or lecture notes given during that absence. However, the absence does not excuse him/her from taking tests or submitting work on time. Students are encouraged to contact the instructor to discuss problems with attendance prior his/her absences. Etiquette and rules During class discussions and lectures, students will not surf the web, check e-mail, chat, or instant messaging. Sleeping during the class, speaking Spanish and consistent interruptions during the lecture will result in penalties to your grade. Do not use class time to work on other courses or personal business. Cell phones, music devices, videogames etc. must be turned off before the beginning of class.
