 Good morning, Ladies and gentlemen. Let me
tell you the story of the very first
Thanksgiving.
 Once upon a time….
 We are going to the new world! Hooray!
 Let’s travel in this ship: the Mayflower.
 Land at last!
 We will call this place Plymouth
 Oh, we need food!
 This winter is long, very cold and we are
getting sick.
 Some of us have died.
 I am Squanto. We will help you.
 We will teach you how to plant, to fish and
hunt.
 Oh, we are good friends! And it is autumn
now. Let’s harvest!

turkeys. Let’s make a feast to give thanks and
invite all!
 What a great party we are having.
 Yes! We are thankful for these harvests, fish
and hunt…
