Installing animated typefaces with .jsx format
In order to properly use our animated typefaces, you need to install
Font Manager or Animography Controller.
Step 01:
Go to: Adobe After Effects [version]/Scripts/Script UI Panels/Font
Manager Library
Font Manager is a script that will help you with typesetting,
creating controllers, creating your own animated typefaces, and much more.
It can read animated typefaces in both .aep and .jsx format.
Step 02:
Drag the contents of the JSX folder (TypefaceName.jsxbin
& the folder TypefaceName) to the Font Manager Library folder.
Step 03:
Hit the refresh button in Font Manager. Et voila!
The animated typefaces can now be found
in the dropdown menu of Font Manager.
Step 04:
Select the typeface from the dropdown menu, and click the little
info-button next to it. This will open up a panel where you can
enter your license key to unlock all characters.
Animography Controller is a free script with just one button that will simply
create a controller for the characters you have selected. It only works with
animated typefaces in .aep format, and only on characters that have not been
linked to a controller already.
You can find both tools at: animography.net/collections/extras
Without a valid license key, you will only have access to the characters A, B, C.
All other characters will be replaced with questionmarks.
