logical values of user variables and
instructions into the Connected
Components Workbench (CCW)
project on the PC as “project values”
Optionally download the project
values back to the controller to

Data protection, during memory module restore, protects global variables
from being overwritten
Project can be copied from memory module to controller without
modifying existing variable values in controller
OEMs may use this feature to maintain current value of counters such
as number of machine cycles
Useful in situations when CCW is not available to do a Data
Upload/Download to preserve the value of variables
