Senior Citizens Late Payment Waiver
 Affordability Discount Program-Residential customers who meet the following eligibility requirements will qualify for a
discount on their monthly service availability charge. CPS Energy's monthly service availability discount is $8.55 per month for
electric customers and $3.75 for gas customers.
Qualifications - If CPS Energy customer’s income is at or below 125% of Federal Poverty Guidelines AND meets at least one
of the following categories:
(1) Individuals 60 years of age and older: or
(2) Individuals with Disabilities; or
(3) Families with pre-school aged children or children in school 18 years or younger; or
(4) Life-sustaining medical equipment; or
(5) Other households with extenuating circumstances as identified by CPS Energy or the City of San Antonio
 Senior Citizens Late Payment Waiver-Residential Customer who meet the following eligibility requirements will qualify for
late payment charges to be waived
Qualifications - If CPS Energy customer’s income is at or below 125% of Federal Poverty Guidelines AND are:
(1) Individuals 60 years of age and older
(2) The Customer of record

Whoever obtains or attempts to obtain program enrollment for which he or she is not entitled, by means of willful false statements or other
fraudulent means, may be considered guilty of a criminal offense and upon conviction may be fined and/or imprisoned.
AUTHORIZATION
I hereby authorize CPS Energy and its contracted agencies to release any and all information regarding me or my home for the purpose of
enrolling me into the Affordability Discounts Program. I also agree to provide CPS Energy and its contracting agencies with any information
necessary to verify my eligibility into the Affordability Discounts Program. I hereby authorize CPS Energy to release all enclosed application
information to other agencies offering similar programs for benefit of my home.

 Affordability Discount Program-Clientes residenciales quiénes satisfacen los requisitos siguientes de la elegibilidad
calificarán para un descuento en su cobro mensual de CPS Energy. El descuento mensual es de $8.55 por mes para clientes de
electricidad y $3.75 para los clientes de gas.
Cualificaciones– Si el ingreso del cliente de CPS Energy está debajo o al del 125% nivel de pobreza federal y que cumplan
al menos uno de los siguientes requisitos:
(1) tener 60 años de edad o más;
(2) tener una discapacidad;
(3) utilizar equipos médicos de soporte vital;
(4) tener niños de edad pre-escolar o de 18 años de edad o menos en la escuela;
(5) si existen circunstancias atenuantes determinadas por CPS Energy o la ciudad de San Antonio.
