Get REALL Opt-Out Form - Asheboro City Schools

Dear Asheboro City Schools Families!
We have great news! Asheboro City Schools is partnering with the Randolph County Public Library to provide easier
access to books and learning resources through our Get REALL program. Beginning July 11, 2016, Get REALL (Randolph
Educational Access for Limitless Learning) will allow students in the Asheboro City Schools district to use their schoolissued student identification number to check out books and access online resources from the Randolph County Public
Library. No library card, no problem!
Get REALL allows our students to:
-
Check-out up to 10 books at any of the Randolph County Public Library locations.
Access online library research and learning resources.
Borrow electronic materials such as e-books, downloadable audiobooks, and magazines.
Use the library’s WIFI access.
Best of all, there are NO OVERDUE fees for students borrowing materials through the Get REALL program. There is a
charge however for lost materials.
Please note, if you do not want your student to have access to library materials through Get REALL, you must opt-out of
the program. Those who opt-out will not be able to borrow materials or access online information, unless they have a
Randolph County Public Library card and PIN number.

*This policy provides that children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult while using library internet computers, and
children 11-15 may do so independently but must have initial parent approval. Library WIFI is available to anyone who brings their
own device regardless of age. Library internet resources, including WIFI, is filtered per the Child Internet Protection Act (CIPA). View

automatically enrolled.

¡Tenemos una gran noticia! Las Escuelas de la Ciudad de Asheboro se han asociado con la Biblioteca Pública del Condado
de Randolph para facilitar el acceso a libros y recursos de aprendizaje a través de nuestro programa Get REALL. A partir

Lo mejor de todo, NO HAY CUOTA que pagar por materiales vencidos por préstamos hechos por los estudiantes a través
del programa Get REALL. Sin embargo, hay un cargo por materiales perdidos.
Entérese, Si no desea que su hijo/a tenga acceso a materiales de la biblioteca a través de Get REALL, usted debe optar
por estar fuera del programa. Aquellos que opten en no participar no podrán sacar prestado materiales o acceder a
información en línea, a menos que tengan una tarjeta de la Biblioteca Pública del Condado de Randolph y número de
contraseña.

*Esta norma permite que los niños de 10 y menores deben ser acompañados por un adulto mientras estén usando el internet en las
computadoras de la biblioteca y los niños 11-15 puede hacerlo independientemente pero debe tener la aprobación con anterioridad
por el padre. El WIFI de la biblioteca está disponible para cualquiera que traiga su propia computadora sin importar la edad.

Si desea que sus hijos participen en Get REALL, no necesita hacer nada. El estudiante será registrado automáticamente.
Si NO desea que su hijo/a participe, complete este formulario de No Participación y devuélvalo a cualquier ubicación
de la Biblioteca Pública del Condado de Randolph.
