Sobre el Bautismo
El bautismo, el primero de los siete sacramentos, nos da la
gracia de llegar a ser hijos adoptivos de Dios. El bautismo nos
borra el pecado original. Por ser descendientes de Adán y Eva,
nacemos con ese pecado original. Si somos bautizados como
adultos, se nos borran también todos nuestros pecados cometidos hasta ese punto. También recibimos una vida sobrenatural
porque recibimos al Espíritu Santo. No hay dicha más grande que
llegar a ser hijos de Dios. La iglesia pide que los niños sean bautizados lo más pronto posible después de su nacimiento. No hay
razón porque retrasar y negar a que los hijos se conviertan en
hijos de Dios lo más pronto posible. Los niños se bautizan en la fe
de los padres y padrinos que se comprometen en educarlos en la
fe católica. Niños mayores de 7 años necesitan tomar clases de
catecismo antes de poder ser bautizados porque ya tienen el uso
de la razón.
Película de San Pedro
Se les invita a ver la película de la vida de San Pedro basada en el
libro de los Hechos de los Apóstoles. La película que es moderna
y en color viene en 2 videos. La primera parte se enseñará el 18
de mayo y la segunda parte el 25 de mayo. Esto será en el cuarto
no. 1 a las 7 PM. No falte usted!
Grupo de Oración
El grupo de oración “Solo Faltas Tú” los invita a tener un encuentro con Cristo los lunes a las 7:00 PM en la iglesia.

ROSARY PROCESSION AND BENEDICTION: Carmelite
House of Prayer, located in the Napa Valley on Sunday, May
15, 2011 at 2 pm. Follow Highway 29 to Oakville and turn onto
Oakville Grade Road. Follow for one mile to the entrance (on
the right). The Rosary Procession and Crowning of the Mother
of God will conclude with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament in the Carmelite Monastery Chapel. All are invited and
encouraged to participate. Light refreshments will conclude
the afternoon event.
CATHOLIC CHARITIES FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER OPEN
HOUSE on Friday, May 6 from 11 AM – 1 PM. Learn how
