ASUNTO:
PROCEDIMIENTOS A SEGUIR CUANDO LOS SERVICIOS INTEGRADOS
TWR/APP TENGAN CONOCIMIENTO DE QUE LA TRIPULACIÓN DE UNA
AERONAVE HAYA INFORMADO DE SU INTENCIÓN DE VACIAR
COMBUSTIBLE
EN
LAS
INMEDIACIONES
DEL
AEROPUERTO
INTERNACIONAL DEL CARIBE GENERAL SANTIAGO MARIÑO.
Normas generales que deberán aplicarse entre los servicios integrados TWR/APP y la tripulación
de las aeronaves que requieran vaciado de combustible cuando sobrevuelen la TMA Margarita:
1)
Se establece una zona de vaciado de combustible en la TMA Margarita, la cual se activará en el
momento de la solicitud de la aeronave.
Ubicación: se encuentra entre los radiales 075/100 del VOR Margarita.
Distancia: de 15 a 25 NM DME.
2)
Cuando una aeronave haya informado de su intención de vaciar combustible a la Dependencia
ATS correspondiente, esta procederá a radiodifundir una advertencia a las otras aeronaves.
3)
Cuando esto suceda, se le asignará una altitud no menor de 2000 pies sobre el obstáculo más
alto ubicad dentro de un radio de 5 millas marinas.
4)
La separación mínima que se deberá aplicar a la aeronave con respecto a otra que se encuentre
en vaciado de combustible será:
i)
1000 pies por encima de la aeronave que realiza vaciado de combustible,
ii)
2000 pies por debajo,
iii)
5 millas marinas bajo control radar,
iv)
5 millas marinas de separación lateral.
NOTA: Se recomienda que la aeronave en vaciado de combustible se encuentre libre de otro
tráfico en la Zona de Vaciado.
5)
Siempre que sea posible se deberá radiodifundir en la frecuencia asignada cada 3 minutos el
vaciador de combustible de la aeronave, indicando zona (activada), tipo de aeronave, altitud, hora
de comienzo/finalización del mismo.
Fraseología:
i)
A todas las aeronaves Torre Margarita DC10 vaciando combustible, FL 90 comenzando a las
1630UTC, 10 millas Este-Noroeste entre radiales 075/100 VOR Margarita hasta 20millas DME 25
NM.
ii)
A todas las aeronaves Torre /Aproximación Margarita control vaciado de combustible terminado.
6)
Una vez que la aeronave en vaciado de combustible haya aterrizado, se procederá a normalizar
el tráfico si lo hubiere por la rozón del vaciado de combustible.

INTEGRATED SERVICES TWR/APP AND AVIATION IN GENERAL
SUBJECT:
PROCEDURES TO FOLLOW WHEN THE INTEGRATED SERVICES TWR/APP
HAS KNOWLEDGMENT THAT THE AIRCRAFT CREW HAS INFORMED YOUR
INTENTION TO DUMPING FUEL IN THE INMEDIATION OF DEL CARIBE
INTERNATIONAL GENERAL SANTIAGO MARIÑO AIRPORT.
General norms that must be apply between integrated services TWR / APP and aircraft crew that
request dumping fuel when over flying the Margarita TMA:
1)
Is established a dumping fuel zone in Margarita TMA, which will be activated when aircraft crew
required it.
Location: It is between radials 075/100 Margarita VOR.
Distance: 15 to 25 NM DME.
2)
When an aircraft had informed your intention to dumping fuel to corresponding ATS
Dependencies, this will procedure to broadcast a warning to other aircrafts.
3)
When this succeeds will be assignated an altitude not low of 2000 FT above the higher obstacle
located within 5 nauticals miles of radio.
4)
The minimum separation distance will be applied to another aircraft respect to the aircraft that is
dumping fuel will be:
i)
1000 FT above the aircraft that is dumping fuel,
ii)
2000 FT below it,
iii)
5 nauticals miles Ander radar control,
iv)
5 nauticals miles of lateral separation,
NOTE: It is recommended that the aircraft dumping fuel should must be free of another traffic in
the dumping fuel zone.
5)
Always that be possible will be broadcasted in the assignated frequency, every three (3)
minutes the dumping fuel operation, indicating zone (activated), type of aircraft, altitude,
beginning and ending time.
PHRASEOLOGY:
i)
To all aircrafts, Margarita Control Tower DC-10 dumping fuel, FL90 beginning at
1630UTC, 10 miles east-northeast between radials 075/100 Margarita VOR until 25 miles
DME.
Avoid flying below FL120 unless 10 NM track of dumping fuel.
ii)
To all aircrafts Margarita tower approach dumping fuel control finish.
6)
Once that the aircraft that was dumping fuel have landed, will be proceed to normalize the traffic if
there is any in the dumping fuel zone.
