Breakfast in the Classroom (BIC)
What is BIC?
It is a Universal Free breakfast served daily in
the classroom, after the bell, during the first 10 to
15 minutes of the school day.
Why BIC?
Children who skip breakfast are not ready to learn.
Salem Public Schools believe that investing 10 to
15 minutes sharing breakfast in the morning while
attending to a quiet lesson allows children to have a
calm, communal transition from home to school -this creates an environment of student cooperation,
group focus, and academic achievement.

Es un desayuno Universal y Gratis que se sirve diariamente en el aula, después de la campaña, durante los
primeros 10 a 15 minútos del día escolar.
¿Por qué elegir Desayuno en el Aula?
Los estudiantes que no se desayunan no están preparados para aprender.
Las Escuelas Públicas de Salem creen que invertir 10 a 15 minútos compartiendo el desayno en la mañana mientras participan en una lección
