+ ¿Cómo formatear el Disco Duro Media
Player con Windows 2000, XP y Vista?
IMPORTANTE: Por los requisitos de la conexión USB 2.0 y
la compatibilidad con el disco duro, es necesario formatear
el dispositivo en Windows 2000, XP y Vista. Sin embargo,
el dispositivo será compatible con Windows 98SE y
Millenium Edition para la transferencia de datos.
Conecte el Disco Duro Media Player al ordenador
mediante el cable USB. Para asegurar que el dispositivo
funcione de forma correcta, puede crear hasta 4
particiones. El disco duro tiene que ser formateado en
FAT32 o por el contrario no reconocerá ningún archivo.
Para formatear su Disco Duro Media Player en FAT32,
siga estas instrucciones:
1. Conecte el Disco Duro Media Player al ordenador
mediante el cable USB.
2. Sitúe el cursor sobre el icono “Mi PC” y pulse el botón
derecho del ratón.
3. Seleccione la opción “Administrar” y pulse el botón
izquierdo para confirmar la acción.

4. En el menú situado a la izquierda, acceda a la opción
“Administración de discos”, dentro de
“Almacenamiento”
5. En el menú que aparecerá a la derecha, seleccione la
unidad que se corresponde con el Disco Duro Media
Player para crear una partición.
a. Seleccione la unidad, pulse el botón derecho del
ratón y acceda a “Crear partición”.
b. Seleccione “Partición primaria”.

c. Elija una letra para la unidad
d. Entonces será preguntado acerca de formatear o no
la unidad. Seleccione “No formatear esta partición”
ya que para esta acción debe utilizar un software
específico incluido en el CD de Drivers/Utilidades de
su Disco Duro Media Player.
6. Para formatear las distintas particiones, utilice el
programa “Fat32 Format” situado en la carpeta “FAT32”.

7. Seleccione la opción “Quick Format” y confirme
pulsando “Start” El proceso debería llevar aprox. 1
minuto por cada partición.

a. Select the drive, then right-click, and click on «create
partition ».
b. Select “primary partition”.

5.5.- Windows will then ask you if you wish to format the
disc or not. Select “do not format this partition’’ since
formatting these partitions should be done using the
software from the included CD.
6. Format your partitions in FAT32, open the program
named «FAT32Format », in the FAT32 folder.

7. Click the Quick Format option for a fast formatting, then
click on «start ». Quick Format lasts for approximately
one minute.
