El estudiante aplicará sus conocimientos y destrezas al producir desde cartas simples hasta documentos complejos de varias páginas. El estudiante producirá documentos comerciales dentro de un tiempo razonable sin la supervisión directa del supervisor. Además, este curso desarrolla las destrezas y las técnicas básicas para producir un mínimo de 41 palabras en ejercicios de 5 minutos como sugiere la oficina. Se le dará énfasis a la destreza de cotejo y a las buenas relaciones interpersonales. Objetivos Generales: Meta: Mediante ocho talleres y diferentes actividades complementarias se espera que el/la estudiante domine el formato de los documentos comerciales y funciones simples y complejas con el uso adecuado del programa de procesamiento de palabras. Al finalizar el curso, el/la estudiante estará capacitado(a) para: 1. Escribir en la computadora de copia corrida durante 5 minutos a una rapidez mínima de 41 palabras por minuto. Prep. 10 OCT.04. Además se evaluará el cotejo. (Ver Anejo D) Asistencia – Será obligatoria a cada taller. La misma es importante para completar los requisitos del curso. Cualquier situación particular deberá ser discutida con el profesor. El estudiante debe excusarse con el/la facilitador(a), si tiene alguna ausencia y reponer todo trabajo. El/la facilitador(a) se reserva el derecho de aceptar la excusa y el trabajo presentado y ajustar la evaluación, según entienda necesario. • Las presentaciones orales y actividades especiales no se pueden reponer, si el estudiante presenta una excusa válida y constatable (ej. médica o de tribunal), se procederá a citarlo para un examen escrito de la actividad a la cual no asistió. • Este curso es de naturaleza acelerada y requiere que el estudiante se prepare antes de cada taller, según especifica el módulo. The student will apply his/her knowledge and skills by creating simple letters to complex documents. The student will produce business documents within reasonable time with no direct supervision from his/her supervisor. In addition, this course develops basic techniques and the skills needed to reach a minimum of 41 words per minute in an exercise of five minutes. Emphasis will be given to proofreading skills and good interpersonal relations. Objetive: Goal: During the eight workshops and its activities, the student will master the basic and advanced functions and formats of business documents with suitable use of a word processing program. By the end of the course, the student will be able to: 1. Type from a copy during five minutes with a minimum of 41 words per minute. 2. Absences must be discussed with the facilitator. Students should make up all presentations, papers, or other assignments that were due on the day of the absence. The facilitator will have the final decision on approval of absences. S/he reserves the right to accept o reject assignments due, and adjust the grade accordingly. 2. The student will have the opportunity to learn through Spanish as well as through English. Workshops will be facilitated in both languages (English and Spanish) on alternate days. This translates into workshops that will be facilitated each day in a different language. A student may interact and ask questions in the language of his/her preference, but in general s/he will be asked to use one language for specific tasks. Each workshop will have an equal balance of Spanish and English. 3. This course is delivered in an accelerated format and requires that students prepare in advance for each session, according to the course guide. Each class session requires approximately 10 hours of preparation. 4. It is expected that all work will be solely that of the students and should not be plagiarized. All quoted material must be properly cited. 5. If the facilitator makes any changes to the study guide, these should be discussed with the students during the first workshop.
