PIETRA SERENA
Roccia arenaria di colore grigio tipica dell’area fiorentina,
con granulometria variabile a seconda della cava di
estrazione. La tessitura della pietra è gradevolmente
omogenea, con puntini lucenti dovuti alla presenza di
mica. Può presentare laminazione e subire svariate
lavorazioni per dare effetti differenti.
A grey sandstone typical of the area around Florence, with
grain size varying from quarry to quarry. The stone has an
attractively uniform texture, with sparkling flecks of mica.
It may feature lamination and can be processed in different
ways to produce a variety of effects.
Roche sableuse grise typique de la région florentine dont la
granulométrie varie selon la carrière où elle est extraite.
La texture de la pierre agréablement homogène possède de
petits points brillants dus à la présence du mica. Elle peut
présenter un laminage et subir diverses transformations pour
donner des effets différents.
Ein grauer Sandstein, typisch für die Gegend um Florenz,
mit veränderlicher Korngröße je nach Abbauort. Die Struktur
dieses Steins ist angenehm gleichmäßig und der vorhandenen
Glimmer sorgt für kleine glänzende Punkte. Er kann laminiert
und verschiedenen Bearbeitungsverfahren unterzogen
werden, um die unterschiedlichsten Effekte zu erzielen.

granulometría variable según la cantera de donde se extraiga.
El entramado de la piedra es homogéneo con puntitos brillantes
debido a la presencia de mica. Puede estar en forma laminada
y sufrir varias elaboraciones para dar efectos diferentes.
