Dear Friends of St. John Vianney Catholic School,

As Christ was ascending to heaven, he charged his
Apostles to go out to all the world to proclaim his
good news. We at St. John Vianney Catholic School
accept this mission. What better way to do this than
through the education St. John Vianney School
offers? For 54 years, St. John Vianney School has
taken its students on a journey where academic
excellence in a Christ-centered environment are the
milestones of their achievements. By providing our
children with an excellent Catholic education today,
we are paving the way for our Catholic leaders of
tomorrow.
This year’s appeal theme is “Learning today...
Leading tomorrow”. The theme sums up perfectly
why our Annual Fund Drive is so important. It is only
by having a financially stable school that we are able
to provide the teachers and students with the
necessary programs that prepare them to carry out
Christ’s mission.
What did the Annul Fund support for 2015-2016?
We were blessed by your generosity last year. For
the 2015-2016 school year, the Annual Fund
provided a new Spanish language curriculum for
grades 1 – 8, enabled us to increase technology use
with the purchase of chrome books for grades 7 and
8 and provided tuition assistance for families with
demonstrated financial need. In addition, this fall we
will install security gates, allowing students to safely
walk between buildings.
This year, I invite you to join us on this journey of
“Learning today...Leading tomorrow”. Invest in our
leaders of tomorrow! Your investment will continue
to grow and deepen. The financial help of our
donors, parents, families, and friends over the years
has made St. John Vianney School a vibrant presence
on Orange Blossom Trail.

Cuando Cristo estaba ascendiendo al cielo, le
encargó a sus apóstoles que salieran por todo el
mundo a proclamar sus buenas noticias. Aquí en el
Colegio Católico San Juan Vianney aceptamos esta
misión. ¿Qué mejor manera de hacerlo sino a través
de la educación que ofrece el Colegio San Juan
Vianney? Por 54 años el Colegio San Juan Vianney, ha
llevado a sus estudiantes en un viaje donde la
excelencia académica está centrada en Cristo y son
los hitos de sus logros. Proporcionando a nuestros
hijos una excelente educación Católica hoy en día,
estamos allanando el camino para nuestros líderes
Católicos del mañana.
El tema para este año es "Aprendiendo hoy...
Dirigiendo mañana". El tema resume perfectamente
por qué es tan importante nuestra Campaña del
Fondo Anual. Sólo teniendo una escuela
financieramente estable seremos capaces de
proporcionar a los maestros y a los estudiantes los
programas necesarios que los prepararan para llevar
a cabo la misión de Cristo.
¿En qué se utilizó lo recaudado en el Fondo Anual
en el 2015-2016? El año pasado fuimos bendecidos
por su generosidad. El Fondo Anual 2015-16
proporcionó un nuevo currículo de español para los
grados 1 – 8, permitió aumentar el uso de la
tecnología con la compra de “Chrome Books” para
los grados 7 y 8 y proveyó ayuda a las familias con
dificultades financiera. Además, este otoño vamos a
instalar puertas de seguridad, permitiendo a los
estudiantes caminar de manera segura entre los
edificios.
Este año, los invito a unirse a nosotros en este viaje
de "Aprendiendo hoy...Dirigiendo mañana".

Campaign will support three vital areas:
 Tuition assistance to make Catholic
education affordable
When you contribute, you make a difference
to a student whose family is concerned about
keeping their children at St. John Vianney
School. Every gift helps to close the gap
between the actual cost of education and the
price of tuition.
 Expanded Science and Technology
programs
Our wish list includes the expansion of the
chrome books into grades 5 and 6, a handson Science Lab for K -3 and a school-wide
gardening program.
 Facility improvements for a safe and secure
learning environment
Our future facility improvement plan
includes security cameras for our entrances
and exits and a shade shelter for our Pre-K
playground.

continue the legacy of the Franciscan tradition that
is at the heart of St. John Vianney School. Please
