How to get to Córdoba
From Málaga airport “Costa del Sol” to Córdoba
From the airport “Costa del Sol”, please take the train C-1 in direction to “Málaga Centro” and
get off at the train station “María Zambrano“. The train runs every 30 minutes (single ticket costs
1,60 €) and the journey takes approx. 15 minutes.
At “María Zambrano” train station, please take the AVE (express train) to Córdoba central
station. The journey takes approx. 1 hour (single ticket costs approx. 26-70 €).
From Seville airport “San Pablo” to Córdoba
From the airport “San Pablo”, please take the bus “EA” in direction to “Prado San Sebastián“
and get off at the train station “Sevilla Santa Justa”. The bus runs every 30 minutes (single
ticket costs 2,40 €) and the journey takes approx. 30 minutes.
At “Sevilla Santa Justa” train station please take the AVE (express train) to Córdoba central
station. The journey takes approx. 50 minutes (single ticket costs approx. 20-52 €).
From Madrid airport “Madrid-Barajas” to Córdoba
From the airport “Madrid-Barajas”, please take the yellow Express Bus to “Atocha” train station,
which runs between the terminals 24 hours a day. The journey takes approx. 35 minutes (single
ticket costs 5 €).
At “Atocha” train station, please take the AVE (express train) to Córdoba central station. The
train to Córdoba runs every 30 minutes from “Atocha”. The journey takes approx. 1.45 hours
(single ticket costs approx. 50-110 €).

We recommend booking the train ticket from the respective city to Córdoba in advance
online at http://www.renfe.com/EN/viajeros/horarios.html as there are limited contingents for the
trains. The best way to book online is to register at the website first and then book the ticket.
There are also long distant buses from Seville and Málaga to Córdoba. However, we
recommend taking the train, which is the faster option.
How to get to the conference venue (Palacio de Congresos de Córdoba)
From Estación AVE (central train station) to Palacio de Congresos de Córdoba by bus
(approx. 8 minutes, single ticket: 1,50 €)
At Córdoba central train station, please go to the central bus station “Estación Central de
Autobuses“ and take either bus number 16 “Sector Sur-Tendilla“ or bus number 3 “RenfeSantuario”. Get off the bus at the station “Puerta del Puente” and take the “Ronda del Isasa”
street to the “Puente Romana” bridge. Before the bridge, please turn left into “Calle Amador de
los Ríos” and continue straight on to “Plaza del Triunfo”. Turn left and stay on “Plaza del
Triunfo”. Then please turn right into “Calle de Torrijos”. After 30m you will see the Palacio de
Congresos de Córdoba on the left.
Walking from Estación AVE (central train station) to Palacio de Congresos de Córdoba
(approx. 20 minutes)
Please head northeast towards “Glorieta de las tres Culturas” and turn left after about 170m into
“Avenida de América”. Then turn right into “Avenida de los Mozárabes” and turn left after about
250m into “Calle de las Ciudades de Heroshima y Nagasaki”. After 130m, please take a sharp
right turn into “Avenida de Cervantes”, continue 300m on “Paseo de la Victoria” and then turn
left to continue on “Paseo de la Victoria”. After 120m please turn left into “Calle Lope de Hoces”,
then turn right into “Calle Tejón y Marín”. After 230m, please continue on “Calle de Almanzor”
for about 140m and then turn right into “Calle del Romero”. After 120m, continue on “Calle de
los Deanes” and turn left into “Calle de la Judería”. After a few meters please take a slight turn
to the right into “Calle de Torrijos”. After about 170m you will see the Palacio de Congresos on
the right.
