Con fundamento en el artículo 63 del Decreto Ejecutivo Nº34 que reglamenta la Ley 36 de 2007, además
de la solicitud de inscripción como productor de filmación de larga estancia aporta los siguientes
requisitos:
o Poder extendido por la persona autorizada para realizar los trámites ante la Comisión Fílmica de
Panamá.
o Formulario de Inscripción con Ocho Balboas (B/8.00) en timbres.
• Nombre y demás generales de los productores.
•
Domicilio temporal o permanente en la republica de Panamá.
•
Identificación de la obra cinematográfica.
•
Breve descripción del contenido de la trama.
•
Numero de Aviso de operación.
•
Cantidad del personal extranjero y Nacional que trabajara en la producción.
•
Monto de la inversión Inicial.
•
Tiempo estimado de la ejecución de las actividades.
o Documento de Identificación personal.
• En caso de ser extranjero presentar copia del pasaporte.
•
Certificación del registro público donde conste la existencia y vigencia de la sociedad.
•
En caso de coproductores nacionales deberá presentar la documentación de certificación
de ambos.
o Declaración Jurada de la persona natural o del representante legal de la empresa, donde
aparézcala firma autenticada ante notario público expresando lo siguiente:
• Interés de realizar actividades relacionadas a la industria cinematográfica y audiovisual.
•
Que la producción no tiene fines de promoción de grupos políticos, la producción de
comerciales publicitarios u obra calificada como pornográfica.
•
Que la producción no afecta negativamente, la imagen cultura e información histórica de
Panamá.
•
En caso de producciones Nacionales, la certificación de nacionalidad expedido por el
INAC.
o Pago de las tasas de registro único que deberán cancelarse mediante pagos ante la ventanilla
del Banco Nacional de Panamá a la cuenta MICI-Registro Nacional de Cine Nº 04-08-0086-7.
o El productor de la Obra se obliga a proporcionar tres copias del material filmado en Panamá,
a la Comisión Fílmica de Panamá.

According to article Number 63 of the executive decree Number 34 by which Law Number 36 of 2007 is
enforced, all long term productions in the Republic of Panama, are bound to address a letter to the
Technical Secretariat of the Panama Film Commission, stating the long term nature of the production, the
real timeline of the scheduled filming and audiovisual activities in the Republic of Panama, and the
temporary address of the headquarters of the foreign production which will not require the designation of
any staff member from the Technical Secretariat of the Panama Film Commission.
Requisites along with this inscription form:
o Power of attorney granted by the person authorized to represent the company before the Panama Film
Commission.
o Inscription Form to the National Film Registry with eight dollars ($8.00 U.S.D.) in national stamps.
• Name and general information of the producers.
• Working Title of the Film.
• Brief synopsis.
• Amount of foreign and national staff members working for the production.
• Amount of the initial investment.
• Estimated duration of the activities.
o Personal identification document.
• Passport copy.
• Public registration and operation permits of the company.
• In case of a national co production it is mandatory to present the certificates for both.
o Sworn and notarized declaration from the legal representative of the company stating the following:
• Intention to engage in film related activities.
• That the production is by no means related to the promotion of political parties, advertisement or
pornography.
• That the production will not affect negatively under any circumstances, the positive image, culture
and accuracy of the historical information of Panama.
• In case of national productions, a nationality certification issued by the Ministry of Culture.
o One-time payment of the registration fees which should be credited to the “MICI - Registro Nacional
de Cine” - Nº 04-08-0086-7 account of the National Bank of Panama.
(This registration fee payment will depend on the type of production – long or short-term – and the amount
of weeks scheduled for the filming of the production. The calculated total cost will make up the one-time
registration fees payment.)
o The producer of the motion picture is required to provide three copies of the final product upon release
to the Panama Film Commission.
The required paperwork should be presented with a minimum of 30 working days before the scheduled
beginning of the activities, to the Technical Secretariat, in order to obtain the necessary permits for
locations and services from other public institutions.
