Sunday: 11:00 AM Computer Class - English
A 4-session computer class for beginners is one
month in English and the next in Spanish. There is a
limit 10 adults, you can SIGN-UP at the Front Desk.

Sun Nov 1 – 2:00 PM Acoustic Showcase:
Coco & Lafe Blues Music. The Acoustic Showcase
features local music and singer-songwriters. This month
Coco & Lafe perform their original blues-based music.
Mon Nov 2 – 4:30 PM Celebrate El Dia de los Muertos
Learn about the meaning of the day in Mexican culture.
Bring a Photo or special Object of a loved one so we can
create an altar that includes all of them.
Tue Nov 3 – 6:00 PM Leyendas, Cuentos, e Historias
Familiares. Un Programa de Lectura Para Familias: se
dedica y se compromete en proveer una experiencia de
lectura de alta calidad para padres de alumnos de edad,
Pre-escolar al tercer grado. Regístrese con Alina

Wed Nov 4 - 2:00-4:00 PM November is Diabetes
Awareness Month. Free Blood Sugar screenings will
be provided by CSUSM nursing students.

Thu Nov 5 - 10:30 AM N. Co. Mountain Dulcimers
Club. Join them to listen or play along, some practice
instruments available.
Thu Nov 5 - 6:00-700 PM The Dreamer’s Guide to
Scholarships. Roxanne Ocampo, aka the “Quetzal
Mama,” is the author of “Nailed It! Quetzal Mama’s
Toolkit for Extraordinary College Essays” will present a
workshop for Dreamer’s looking for scholarships.

“Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and their Epic
Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics” by Daniel
James Brown. Non-fiction book club meets the 2nd
Monday monthly.
Tue Nov 10 – 6:00 PM Writers Read: Veterans
Writing Group of San Diego County
Join us for Open Mic where everyone can read their
work and this month are invited Veterans as writers.
