dress up in costumes and participate in our Fall obstacle
course for $5.00. Representatives will also be here from
the Pennies for Patients or LLS campaign. We hope that
you will join us for a morning of fun!
This will be our final newsletter sent home on paper.

Students must be in class each day by 7:40 AM. The tardy
bell rings at 7:45. Students arriving 7:45 or later will
receive a tardy slip.

October PTO Meeting
Early Dismissal and Fall Holiday
Our first Piney Point PTO (Parent and Teachers
Organization) meeting will be on Thursday, October 6th at
8:00 a.m. Our PTO helps our school pay for field trips,
Piney Point Scholars, and promotes the relationship
between the school and families. We will also have a raffle
for a Wal-Mart gift card.
We will have Early Dismissal on Tuesday, October 11th at
12:30 PM. Please make plans to pick up your child on
time. On Wednesday, October 12th, there is no school due
to a Fall Holiday.
PTO Membership
Piney Point Membership Drive 2016-2017 ends Friday,
October 28th. Membership dues are $10.00 per family.
Special envelopes were sent home. We are hoping that
each family will join. Classrooms with 100% participation
will receive a celebration party!
October Sales
Beginning October 3rd, PTO will sell Fall items in the
mornings before school. Items will cost between 25 cents
and $2.00. Please support our PTO.
PTO Fall Fest
Saturday, October 29th from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, we will
have PTO Fall Fest. Piney Point families may rent a table
for $25 to sell school appropriate items such as toys, crafts

Timbre de Tardanzas
Los estudiantes necesitan estar en su clase a las 7:40 AM cada
día. El timbre de tardanzas suena a las 7:45. Los estudiantes
que lleguen a las 7:45 o después recibirán un papel de
tardanza.
Jueves, 13 de octubre, 8:15 AM- Tiempo de Conocer a la
Escuela y Hacer Preguntas (Salón de los Padres)
Junta del PTO
Salida Temprano y Día de Otoño
Tendremos la primera junta del PTO el jueves, 6 de octubre a
las 8:00 AM. El PTO ayuda a recaudar fondos para pagar los
viajes de la escuela, Piney Point Scholars, y promueve la
relación entre la escuela y las familias. Tendremos una rifa de
tarjeta de Wal-Mart para los padres que asistan a la junta.
Tendremos salida temprano el martes, 11 de octubre a las
12:30 PM. Favor de hacer un plan para recoger a su hijo(a) a
tiempo. El miercoles, 12 de octubre, no tendremos clases por
el Dia de Vacacion de Otoño.
La Membrecía de PTO
La membrecía de PTO para el año escolar 2016-2017 termina
el viernes, 28 de octubre. El PTO pide $10.00 para la afiliación.
Recibirán un sobre especial. Esperamos que cada familia
participe. ¡Los salones con 100% de participación recibirán
una fiesta de celebración!
Ventas de Octubre
Empezando el 3 de octubre, el PTO venderá cosas del otoño
en las mañanas, antes de la escuela. Las cosas costarán entre
25 centavos y $2.00. Favor de apoyar al PTO.
Celebración del Otoño de PTO
El sábado, 29 de octubre de las 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, tendremos
una Celebración del Otoño de PTO. Las familias de Piney
Point podrán rentar una mesa por $25 para vender cosas
