The Unfolding Mystery
The Bible is an unfolding story of the creation, its fall into sin, and its redemption through the
suffering and resurrection of the Son of God, the man Christ Jesus, for the forgiveness of sin.

The New Testament is about God’s Son, the Messiah, who
did come to suffer, die, and be resurrected to save the
world and rule over it, and who will one day return to
judge it and consummate its salvation.
The Old Testament is about God’s Son, the Messiah, who
would come to save the world from its fall into sin by
suffering rejection and rising from the dead to rule over it.

himself from the world through his
first-born son, the Messiah.
