The Enemy | El Enemigo
Goliath stood and shouted a taunt across to the
Israelites. “Why are you all coming out to
fight?” he called. “I am the Philistine champion,
but you are only the servants of Saul. Choose
one man to come down here and fight me! If he
kills me, then we will be your slaves. But if I kill
him, you will be our slaves! I defy the armies of
Israel today! Send me a man who will fight me!”
When Saul and the Israelites heard this, they
were terrified and deeply shaken.

Entonces Goliat se detuvo y gritó mofándose de los
israelitas: «¿Por qué salen todos ustedes a pelear?
Yo soy el campeón filisteo, pero ustedes no son
más que siervos de Saúl. ¡Elijan a un hombre para
que venga aquí a pelear conmigo! Si me mata,
entonces seremos sus esclavos; pero si yo lo mato

Even before he made the world, God loved

bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ.
This is what he wanted to do, and it gave
him great pleasure.

Dios nos amó y nos eligió en Cristo para
