Route Airport Ministro Pistarini/EZEIZA – City Center:
Please note: the official name of the airport is MINISTRO PISTARINI, but it is often referred to as EZEIZA.
There is also another Airport („Aeroparque Jorge Newbery“), but travelers from Europe, the US, Canada etc.
will always arrive at EZEIZA airport.
For the route from the airport to the city center we recommend the use of local buses of the “Manuel
Tienda León” bus company, instead of taxis.

The bus shuttles will take passengers to the city center terminal „Terminal Puerto Madero“. There, you will
have to transfer to smaller buses of the same company, which will bring you to your particular hotel;
considering your hotel is located in the city center (this includes Recoleta), of course.
Going from the airport to terminal „Terminal Puerto Madero“ costs (today!) 100ARS. To be taken to the
hotel from Puerto Madero costs 30ARS (today!). You find the counter of Manuel Tienda Leon in the lobby
of the airport directly behind the exit of the customs office on the left side. It's possible to buy both tickets
there but you can buy your ticket to the hotel at Puerto Madero as well. Important for your return trip: If
you'd like to be picked up at your hotel you have to book 24 hours in advance (the hotel stuff will probably
do this for you if you ask).

The UCA is in the city center close to the former venue, the Centro Cultural Borges (22-25 min distance by
foot, 12-15 min by taxi).
The quarter closest to the UCA is San Telmo, but Centro, Retiro and Recoleta are also possible. Recoleta is
the furthest quarter from the UCA but it is quite popular among tourists. A taxi will take you in 20 min from
Recoleta to the UCA (which is considered as close in Buenos Aires).
