A veces los “pronombres reflexivos” se usan en sentido
enfático.
En estos casos se traducen por: mismo -a
mismos -as.

The Wilsons have a big garden, but they don’t need a
gardener, because they like to look after the flowers and
the plants themselves. (ellos mismos)
It is much better if you do it yourself. (tú mismo)
She did it all by herself.
(Ha hecho todo ella misma.)
He poured himself a glass of whisky.
(Se virtió un copa de whisky.)
