Thank you to Dan Marler and Blue Horizons for bringing the Amber Waves Band to Thomson Primary for the enjoyment
of the Kindergarteners, 1st, and 2nd graders. The Amber Waves Band features the Costello family who mixes acoustic
music including Celtic, Old English, Colonial American, Bluegrass, and Gospel music to form a delightful combination.
In the 1st and 2nd grade music classes, we explored Bluegrass and Celtic music as well as practiced audience skills. We
identified violin, also called fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, and the big Double Bass.

Gracias a Dan Marler y Blue Horizons por traer a la banda Amber Waves Band a la Primaria Thomson para que los del
Kínder, 1ro y 2do grado lo disfruten. La banda Amber Waves Band presenta a la familia Costello, quienes mezclan música
acústica que incluye música Celtica, Ingles Antigua, Americana Colonial, Bluegrass y la música Góspel para formar una
mezcla agradable.
En las clases de música de 1er y 2do grado, nosotros exploramos la música Bluegrass y Celtica. Además practicamos las
