MEDIA ADVISORY INTRODUCING DIRECTOR ROBERT ANTOLOS West New York Police Department welcomes new director upon Michael Indri’s retirement West New York Police Director Michael Indri, who has always been infinitely dedicated to his
community, is set to retire on May 1st and will pass the torch on to his predecessor, Robert Antolos.
Indri, who looks forward to spending more of his time with his wife Lori and his three adult daughters,
will continue his legacy post-retirement expanding his pet-project, the newly-conceived West New York
Police Athletic League.
Newcomer only to the title of director, Antolos was born and raised in West New York. Upon
graduating from Memorial and marrying his high school sweetheart with whom he has two sons, he
went on to graduate from Bergen Community College with a degree in Police Science.
Director Antolos’ career began as a park officer in 1975, after which he graduated third in his class of 55
recruits from Bergen County Police Academy and became a full-fledged officer.
Director Antolos made his way through the ranks over the years until he became Captain, after which he
retired as Criminal Investigation Commander in 2008.
Antolos has received 15 exceptional Police Service awards, five Community Service awards, and 14
letters of appreciation for his tireless community and charity work; in addition to letters from the Secret
Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and countless other police establishments. He is a proud
member of the New Jersey Police Honor Legion and an avid volunteer for the Walk-for-Wishes
Organization.
Director Antolos has high hopes for the Town of West New York and is honored to have been given the
opportunity to devote himself fully to his community.

MEDIA ADVISORY LA INTRODUCCIÓN DEL DIRECTOR ROBERT ANTOLOS El Departamento de Policía de West New York da la bienvenida al Director nuevo El Director de la Policía de West New York Michael Indri, quien siempre ha estado infinitamente
dedicado a su comunidad, está listo para retirarse el 1ro de Mayo y pasará la antorcha a su predecesor,
Robert Antolos. Indri, quien anticipa gastar más de su tiempo con su esposa Lori y sus tres hijas adultas,
seguiré su legado antes del retiración participando en proyecto: la nueva Liga Atlética de la Policía de
West New York para los jóvenes.
Recién llegado únicamente a la posición de Director, Antolos quien nació y se crió en West New York.
Al graduarse de Memorial y casarse con su novia de la escuela secundaria con la que el tiene dos hijos,
se graduó de Bergen Community College con una licenciatura en Ciencias Policiales.
Antolos comenzó su carrera como un oficial del parque en 1975, después se graduó tercero en su clase
de 55 reclutas de la Academia de Policía del Condado de Bergen y últimamente, se convirtió en un
agente de pleno derecho.
Director Antolos se abrió paso entre las filas en los últimos años hasta convertirse en el capitán, después
de lo cual se retiró como Comandante de Investigación Criminal de 2008.
Antolos ha recibido 15 premios excepcionales del Servicio de Policía, cinco premios de Servicio
Comunitario, y 14 cartas de agradecimiento por su trabajo de caridad incansable para su comunidad,
además de cartas del Servicio Secreto, la Oficina Federal de Investigaciones, y un sinnúmero de otras
dependencias policiales. Él es un miembro orgulloso de la Legión del Honor de Policía de New Jersey y
un voluntario entusiasta de la organización del Walk-for-Wishes.
Director Antolos tiene grandes esperanzas para la ciudad de West New York y para él es un honor haber
tenido la oportunidad de dedicarse plenamente a su comunidad.
