GradeQuick Refresher The following steps summarize how to enter gradebook data for report card printing purposes. Log into Edline, then click “Semester 1 (15-16) GradeQuick Web” to launch GradeQuick. Kindergarten Report Cards 1.) See printing instructions at this link: Visit www.vvsd.org/KIDS -> Teachers -> Report Card Information -> KIDStech/Report Card Tutorials Time Saver Tip! Right-click within a column to “Quick Fill” that column with one symbol. GR 1-4 Skill Data There are two ways to enter skills data: 1.) Enter All Skills for One Student: Click “View,” then “Student Summary View,” then Skill Assessment tab. 2.) Enter One Skill for All Students: Click “Edit Skills,” click to select skill, then click Student Assessment tab. Indicates Needs Work (Kdg. letter/sounds only) GR 5 Skill Data Only assignments & tests with the current quarter indicated in “Term” will count toward the current quarter subtotal grade. The student’s grade in the “Subtotal” column for the quarter is the grade that will print on the report card for that quarter. Attendance Enter the following data in the Social Studies gradebook. 1.) In the Social Studies gradebook, click “View” then “Student Info.” 2.) Click to deselect previous quarter fields, if selected, then click to select current quarter fields. Deselecting data fields from gradebook view will NOT delete information, but simply hide it from view. 3.) Enter absence & tardy information from the front office in the current quarter columns. Memos/Teacher Comments 1.) In the Social Studies gradebook, click “Memo” button, select “Student Memos,” then click “Ok.” 2.) Select student from drop-down menu on left, then select “Term * Memo” from drop-down menu on right. 3.) Click “File” then “Insert Quicknotes” and select at least 2 comments from the available list (see next page). One of these comments must be either “Art/Music” is not taught at this time.” NOTE: You can also type “free-form” comments/memos, in addition to the Quicknotes selections. 4.) Click “X” to close window, or select the next student. You will be prompted to save your changes. NOTE: Memos entered in quarter 1-3 will appear on quarter 4 report cards. Print GR 1-5 Report Cards 1.) 2.) 3.) 4.) Click “Reports,” then “Grade (K-5) Report Cards,” then select the current term. Select all gradebooks in ascending order. Click “Print”, then select “\\gru\PDFPrint” as the printer. Save .pdf file to your computer, then email to front office to print 2-sided copies.
