Reporte Biográfico en español Biographical Report in Spanish En 5 grado, harás una investigación completa y escribirás un reporte sobre una
persona importante. Estas son las indicaciones:
In 5th grade, you will do thorough research and write a paper about an important
person. Here are your guidelines:
Primera página/First page:
Página del título/Title Page
Segunda página/Second page: Tabla de contenido/Table of Contents
Tercera página/Third page:
Los primeros años- Presenta a tu persona. Describe a la persona, como fue esta
persona durante su niñez. ¿Quiénes fueron sus padres? ¿Tuvieron hermanos?
Incluye cuándo y dónde nació esta persona y donde vivió durante su niñez
(aproximadamente hasta los 18 años).
The Early Years - Introduce the person. Describe the person, how was this person
as a child? Who were the parents? Did they have siblings? Include when and
where that person was born and where they lived in their early years
(approximately up to age 18).
Cuarta página/Fourth page:
Motivación de su niñez – Escribe sobre algún o algunos eventos en la vida de esta
persona que influenció inmensamente en su vida. Tenían aficiones/pasatiempos o
paso algo trágico en su vida. ¿Qué fue y cómo impactó la vida de esta persona?
Childhood Motivations - Write about an event or events in the person's’ life, which
may be the factor(s) that greatly influenced them in their later life. Did they
have any hobbies or did something tragic happen to this person, what was it and
how did it impact this person’s life?
Quinta página/Fifth page:
Logros Importantes – Describe por lo menos 3 acontecimientos o logros en la vida
de esta persona. ¿Qué obstáculos tuvo que superar para lograr sus metas? Los
logros deben ser significantes. Apoya los logros con detalles significantes. ¿Por
qué es una figura importante en la historia?
Major Accomplishments - Describe at least 3 of this person’s major actions and
accomplishments. What did this person do? What obstacles did this person
overcome to accomplish his or her goals? The items should be quite significant.
Support your information with details. Why is this person a notable figure in
History?
Sexta página/Sixth page:
El impacto a otras personas – ¿Cómo impactaron los logros a otras personas? Da
ejemplos cuando sea posible. ¿Qué atributos personales tiene esta persona que
causó un gran impacto en las vidas de otras personas? Ejemplos de palabras que
podrías usar son: integridad, perseverancia, honestidad, sabiduría, comprensión,
humildad, inteligencia, etc. Explica por que los atributos que usaste son
importantes para describir a esta persona.
Impact on others- How did this person’s achievements impact other people? You
should give examples when possible. What personality traits did this person
possess that caused them to have such an impact on the lives of other people?
Examples of words you could use: integrity, perseverance, honesty, insightful,
empathetic, humility, intelligent, etc. Explain why the traits you choose to
describe this person are important.
Séptima página/Seventh page:
Eventos Históricos – ¿Que estaba pasando en el mundo cuando esta persona hizo
su contribución a la historia? Debes nombrar por lo menos 3 eventos no
relacionados con esta persona. Da unos cuantos detalles para cada evento
histórico: Segunda Guerra Mundial, La Gran Depresión, Movimiento De Los
Derechos Humanos, etc.
Historic Events – What was going on in the world during the time this person made
their significant contribution to history? You need at least 3 events that don’t
directly involve this person. Give a couple of details for each historical event:
WWII, The Great Depression, The Civil Rights Movement, etc.
Octava página/Eighth page:
Conclusión – ¿Crees que esta persona merece tanta atención por su logros? ¿Por
qué sí o porque no? Finalmente, termina tu reporte con una cita dicha por tu
persona y da tu opinión sobre lo que piensas que significa la cita. Explica porque
piensas que la cita es importante.
Conclusion - Do you think that this person deserves so much attention for their
accomplishments? Why or why not? Finally, end your report with a quotation from
your person or about your person and tell what you think that quotation means.
Explain why this is an important quote.
Novena página/Ninth page:
Bibliografía – Aquí cítaras por los menos tres recursos: uno de un libro, uno del
internet y uno de un libro de referencia como un libro de texto.
Bibliography – This is where you cite at least three resources: one from a book,
the Internet, and a reference source such as a textbook.
