Examples:
AFFIRMATIVE: I laid the table
NEGATIVE: I didn´t lay the table
INTERROGATIVE: Did you lay the table? Yes, I did
Did she lay the table? No, she didn´t
REGULAR VERBS IN THE PAST
Examples:
AFFIRMATIVE: I played basketball
NEGATIVE: I didn´t play basketball
INTERROGATIVE: Did you play basketball? Yes, I did
Did they play basketball? No, they didn´t
NOTA: Para la Forma Afirmativa usamos siempre la segunda forma del
verbo, es decir, la de Simple Past.
Pero para la Forma Negativa e Interrogativa usamos la primera forma, es
decir, la de Infinitive/Present.
