California recently adopted a new formula for
deciding how funding is distributed to schools,
called the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF).
The LCFF requires schools to develop a Local
Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) with input
from parents, students, staff, and other stakeholders. The LCAP describes the schools’ goals for
students and the actions and resources that will
be used to achieve these goals.
California adoptó recientemente una nueva fórmula para
decidir cómo los fondos son distribuidos a las escuelas,
se llama la fórmula de financiación de control local
(LCFF). El LCFF requiere que las escuelas desarrollen un
control Local y Plan de Responsabilidad (LCAP) con el
aporte de los padres, los estudiantes, el personal y otras
partes interesadas. La LCAP describe las metas de las
escuelas para los estudiantes y las acciones y recursos
que se utilizarán para lograr estos objetivos.
