On Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, Catholics aged 18 - 59 years
observe a modified fast (guidelines allow one full meal). Catholics
aged 14 and older abstain from meat on Ash Wednesday and every
Friday during the season of Lent.

En miércoles de Ceniza y Viernes Santo, los católicos de entre 1859 años de edad tienen un ayuno moderado (las pautas permiten
una comida completa). Los católicos de 14 y más de 14 años de
