Dear Uplift Luna Primary Parents,
We would like to thank all Uplift Luna Primary Parents for working diligently with us by following the carline procedures. For
the 2014-2015 school year, we will be staggering drop-off and pick up times and you will receive a carline card at Meet the
Teacher. You will be required to present this card prior to entering the 2 nd floor garage.
Morning (Monday-Friday):
Grades 3-5 Carline begins at 7:30am-7:55am
Grades K-2 Carline begins at 7:40am-7:55am
Afternoon (M, T, Th, F):
Grades 3-5 Carline begins at 3:30pm-3:50pm
Grades K-2 Carlines begins at 3:40pm-4:00pm
Afternoon (Wednesday):
Grades 3-5 Carline begins at 2:00pm-2:20pm
Grades K-2 Carline begins at 2:10-2:30pm
If you have scholars in more than one grade, please drop-off/pick-up your scholars at the time designated to the highest grade
level.
The morning gate will close at 7:55am – All scholars must go through carline. The afternoon gate will close at 4:00pm; if your
scholar’s designated carline time ends at 3:50pm, you must pick up your scholar at the front office (even if the gate is not closed).
Please note that there will be a late fee of $1.00 per minute or $10.00 per 15 minutes after the designated carline end times.
All parents must go down N. Griffin Street, turn left at Munger Avenue and enter the garage through the left gate. Teachers will
be stationed on the second floor to greet scholars and make sure they exit the vehicles safely. There will be 2 police officers, one
at the corner of Laws Street and Munger Avenue and the other officer will be on N. Griffin Street. Please see map below.
We ask that you DO NOT:




Drop off scholars in the front office during carline in the mornings
Block traffic on Munger Avenue or double-park on the street
Block the entrance/exit to the Aquarium
Park on Laws Street or block the street (Police Officers will issue tickets if the street is blocked)
Doing so violates the terms of our lease, prevents other parking garage patrons from entering the garage, interrupts the flow of
traffic, and violates Dallas traffic laws. Failure to comply with these laws may result in Uplift Luna losing our space in the
building.
We are working hard to respect your time and keep carline running quickly, smoothly, and safely for you and your scholar.

Estimados Padres de Uplift Luna Primaria,
Nos gustaría agradecer a todos los Padres de Uplift Luna Primaria por trabajar diligentemente con nosotros en seguir los
procedimientos de carline. Para el año escolar 2014-2015, estaremos alternando los horarios de la dejada y recogida y recibirá
una tarjeta de carline en la Noche de Conocer al Maestro/a. Sera requerido mostrar esta tarjeta antes de entrar al 2° piso del
garaje.
Mañana (lunes-viernes):
Tarde (lunes, martes, jueves y viernes):
Grados 3-5 Carline comienza a las 7:30am-7:55am
Grados 3-5 Carline comienza a las 3:30pm-3:50pm
Grados K-2 Carline comienza a las 7:40am-7:55am
Grados K-2 Carline comienza a las 3:40pm-4:00pm
Tarde (miércoles):
Grados 3-5 Carline comienza a la 2:00pm-2:20pm
Grados K-2 Carline comienza a la 2:10pm-2:30pm
Si tiene escolares en más de un grado, por favor deje a sus escolares en el horario del escolar en el grado mayor.
El portón en la mañana cerrara a las 7:55am – TODOS los escolares deben pasar por carline. El portón en la tarde cerrara a las
4:00pm; si el tiempo designado de su escolar termina a las 3:50pm, deberá de recoger a su escolar en la oficina (aunque el portón
no esté cerrado). Favor de tomar en cuenta que habrá una cuota si llega tarde de $1.00 por minuto o $10.00 por cada 15 minutos.
Todos deben ingresar por N. Griffin Street, dar vuelta a la izquierda en la Munger Avenue y entrar al garaje por el lado izquierdo.
Los maestros estarán situados en el segundo piso para recibir a los escolares y asegurarse que salgan de los vehículos
seguramente. Habrá dos oficiales de policía, uno en la esquina de Laws Street y Munger Avenue y el otro oficial en
N. Griffin Street. Favor de ver el mapa.
Le pedimos que por favor NO haga lo siguiente:

Dejar a sus escolares en la entrada de la oficina durante carline por las mañanas

Bloquear el tráfico en Munger Avenue o hacer doble fila en la calle

Bloquear la entrada/salida del Acuario

Estacionarse o bloquear la calle Laws Street (Policías darán infracciones a quienes bloqueen esta calle)
Al hacerlo, es violar los términos de nuestro contrato, previene a otros que se estacionen en el garaje, interrumpe el flujo de
tráfico, y viola las leyes de la ciudad de Dallas. El no cumplir con estas leyes puede resultar en que Uplift Luna pierda su espacio
en el edificio.
Estamos trabajando duro para respetar su tiempo y que carline corra rápido, ligero, y seguro para usted y su escolar. Por
favor sea amable y respetuoso con los vecinos y con uno al otro!
