Exchange Program
All students interested in attending Universidad EAFIT must:
→ Complete the online application form

→ Complete the printable application form (http://www.eafit.edu.co/international/esp/orieafit/Documents/Formato%20de%20aplicaci%C3%B3n%20estudiante%20extranjeros.pdf) and
make a digital copy of it
NB: Don’t forget to add a recent photo to the format in high resolution
→ Take the Artistic Activities Survey at
http://webapps.eafit.edu.co/seven/encuestas/extranjeros/
→ Make digital copies of:
 A letter from your university nominating you for the exchange semester at
EAFIT
 The printable format fully completed
 A Certificate of Proficiency in Spanish (DELE) at a B1 level (If you are going to
take classes in Spanish).
 Complete official transcripts from your university
 A copy of your passport opened on the information page.
All these documents should be sent to [email protected] in order to be reviewed and
send you your Letter of Acceptance

Accommodation
Universidad EAFIT doesn’t have student
residences/dormitories but we have a wide data
base of accommodation near campus for all
budgets. Upon your arrival, your Buddy will help
you find accommodation.
Cost of living
A monthly budget varies from 650 USD to 750
USD
Buddy Program
All incoming international students have been
assigned a Buddy from Universidad EAFIT.
His/her Buddy will help the student with all
migratory procedures, finding a place to stay,
and general integration into the student
academic and social life here at EAFIT.
International activities
Every semester, we hold and international night
where students can showcase their countries
and universities. In addition, we plan different
outings and trips throughout the semester.

Insurance and medical services
You should have an international insurance
policy that covers the complete length of your
stay. In addition, Universidad EAFIT will add all
international students to the Accident
Insurance Policy that covers all students inside
and outside our campus. International students
can also access the on-campus medical services.
NB: There is a hospital one block from campus
for any emergencies that can’t be attended by
the university’s medical staff.
