Motion to approve meeting minutes for July 23, and August 20, 2015 by Commissioner McCarthy and supported by Commissioner Austin Roberts. Motion carries. VI. Commission Business. VII. Next HRC Monthly Meeting: October 15, 2015, 6:00 p.m., City Hall, 2nd Floor Training Room. VIII. Chair Report. A. Commissioner Recruitment Discussion. Fifelski will follow-up with Sharon Van Gelderen to consider making an on-line fillable application so applicants can apply via the website. B. Committee Meeting Discussion. Recommendation to hold committee meeting when needed. C. Social Justice Awards. Motion to consolidate awards to one award given annually by Commission Gonzales. Motion supported by Commissioner McCarthy. Motion carries. IX. Staff Report. A. Important Dates to Remember: i. Hispanic Heritage Month Progressive Update. ii.
